---Ok, I am going to tell you about the two animes, Shugo Chara and Inuyasha. I will start with Shugo Chara. If you already know about these animes, just skip to the chapter.
Main characters:
Amu, Tadase, Ikuto, Yaya, Nadeshko/Nagikto (sp?), Kukai, Utau, and Rima
Main bad guys: Easter
About Amu: she has pink hair, honeycomb yellow eyes, she has this 'cool and spicy' act that she puts on so that she doesn't seem like the shy girl that she is. She has four shugo charas- Ran (she's active and is like the cheerleader), Miki(the artist), Su(the cook), and Dia(the person who reminds you of your inner 'sparkle') . (Shugo charas are mini characters that are your heart's egg. The shugo chara represents your dream(s).) Amu is in a group called the guardians. They all have shugo charas. In the guardians, her role is Joker.
About Ikuto: He's the playboy highschooler who loves to tease Amu. He has a shugo chara named Yoru (a cat). He has dark blue hair and dark blue eyes. He has a cat chara because he wants to be free, like an ally cat.
About Tadase: He is the 'king' of the guardians. His shugo chara Kiseki, is actually a king. Tadase has blond hair, and a red-ish colored eyes. His dream was to be a braver person, so Kiseki was born. WARNING!!! NEVER CALL TADASE A PRINCE!!! HE WILL GO ALL CREEPY ON YOU SAYING THAT HE IS THIS KING OF THE WORLD AND THAT YOU ARE PESENTS THAT SHOULD GROVEL AT HIS FEET!! Later in the anime/manga, Amu and he start dating!!
About Yaya: She is the 'baby' in the guardians. Her chara, Pepe, is a baby. Yaya's dream was to be the baby of the family...forever. She has short-ish long-ish brown hair that is always in pigtails, and brown-red eyes. She is very hyper and loves sweets (ouran high fans... does she remind you of someone?) She is in the Ace's chair.
About Nadeshko/Nagikto: In most of the anime, Nadeshko is a girl, but you find out later, that Nadeshko is actually a boy, Nagikto or Nagi. He has long purple hair and honey-comb yellow eyes. He has a crush on Amu later on, but she's going out with Tadase.... yeah. No jealousy happens though. When he was a girl, he took the Queen's chair, but the 'she' left, and came back as a boy, but Amu never finds out that he's actually Nadeshko. When he comes back, he s in the ..I don't know.
About Kukai: Kukai is the sport person of the guardians, his shugo chara, Daichi, is the sport chara of the group. Kukai has green eyes and brown hair. He loves to mess with Amu. That's one thing that he does best, besides play soccer. He is the Jack's chair in the guardians. He later falls in love with Utau, an x-absolutely amazing pop singer.
About Utau: She has LONG blond hair that is normally in pigtails, and purple eyes. Like I said before, she was a pop-singer for Easter. She was a pawn in Easter's plan, but she left Easter. She has two shugo chara, El and Il (Eel) . El is an angel, while Il is a devil. She is sorta snotty, and seems rude until you get to know her better.
About Rima: Rima is a shy and snotty girl. She is sorta like a celebrity, but she gets better the farther into the anime/manga you get. She has LONG wavy blond hair and honey-comb yellow eyes. She is actually a very comical person. Her chara, Kusukusu, is her comical side. Rima is very serious when it comes to comedy. Her dream is to make people laugh. Her parents are very protective of her, because a few years before she came to Seiyo elementary, she was kidnapped, but the kidnaped failed.
More about shugo chara: Easter is after the Embryo, an egg that can grant your wishes. There are also eggs called x-eggs, or when people dreams were abandoned, their heart's egg turns into an x-egg. The guardians main mission (beside finding the Embryo) is to turn x-eggs into pure hearts eggs.
