Chapter 8: the shrine

After the meeting we headed home. "I hope that you can stay at the shrine with me," I said. "Ya, I hope they do. I mean, IM YOUR SISTER!" Cassandra yells. We finally reach the shrine and headed to the house. I walked over to mom and hugged her. "Hi mom! I'm home!" I say. "Hi sweety, how was your second day?" "Great! I found someone that I thought that would never see again today!" I said. "And who would that be?" She asked. "My sister!" I say innocently. "Cassandra magically appeared here in Tokyo! " I add. "Can she stay here in my room?" I ask. "Sure! I'll tell Kagome when she gets home."

When Kagome got home she came in and saw Cassandra. "Who's she?" She asked. "Your second sister," I say calmly. "What?" She deadpans. "Yep! My sister magically teleported here from America this morning!" I said.

Cassandra and I start talking about what had happened since I left the orphanage. I told her the whole story about the airplane and and the eggs. The whole time Easel was asleep in her egg. "Do you have your guitar?" Cassandra asked. "Yep! Upstairs, actually," I reply. "I found the sheet music online for futatsu no Kodou," she said quietly. "WHERE?" I asked. "You'll get it for your birthday," she said. "Awww, that's in about 4 months! At the end of the school year! In may! I didn't think that I can survive that long!" I whine. "Haha, to bad :P" Time for bed.

The next day...." Saturday! Yay, no school!" Cassandra and I yell. We put in our earrings, and go downstairs. "What can we do today mom?" We say. "Well, you guys can work around the shrine and help your Grandpa," mom suggested. "Ok!" We say. We are like the girl versions of Hikaru and Kouru but not identical twins.

We go to the shrine, and help carry tonics, ancient artifacts,ink bottles,ect. And Easel helped by carrying little bottles, charms, and other stuff. After a while, people started to come by to buy good luck charms, tonics, pray, and other stuff that you would find at a shrine.

After everyone was gone, I remembered that the Guardians were supposed to meet at the park today! "We need to go," we both said.

We left the shrine and headed to the park. When we found them, we sat down beside them. Easel floated over to Miki and they started to talk about artsy things. "Yay, your here! Ami is being a really big handful," Yaya said. We looked over and saw Ami pulling Amu's hair. Cassandra and I snickered a bit. "Ami come here," I said. She looked over to me. "I was going to eat these but if you're a good girl ill let you eat them," I say as I pull out some packets of fruit snacks. Ami sat down and stayed quiet. "Works every time," Cassandra and I said. "Ok, let's get down to business. Lets look over these petitions!" Tadase moaned. Everyone moaned except for Amu. "Lucky Amu, you don't have to do anything," Cassandra said. When we finished looking over the petitions, Nagi said," Has anyone seen any x-eggs lately?" "No." "Nuh uh." "Nada." "Nope." "I haven't seen a single one since Utau left Easter," Amu said. "Yah."

Uh oh. That means that 1. Ikuto is going to be kidnapped and 2. Easter is going to be gone soon. I looked up and saw Tadase asking Amu if he could go to her house and Amu's face went a bit pail. I looked over to Cassandra and we both smiled then frowned. Ikuto was at Amu's house.

Haha, just kidding! I'm not gonna tell you yet! Ok, I've come up with an idea.
