Chapter 44: the war

 Belle's POV

   Angel was soooooo kawai!! Her purple shotgun actually worked too.  I talked with her, and got to know her better.  She was actually more like me than I thought. Shed loved to sing, and she was different from the other charas. 1, she was about 10 times stronger than a normal chara, and 2, to activate her powers, I had to say an incantation. I luckily already knew the incantation. It was some of the lyrics from different songs. All I had to do was either think it, whisper it, or say it out loud. It was pretty easy. Also, If her powers were visible to me -for example, there was mist around me- anyone else could see it. Also, when I character changed, anyone could see my outfit too.My life was beginning to look even better than it already was. Being here in Japan was a miracle. My dad being alive was a miracle. Being in love with Zero was a miracle. Zero even EXISTING was a miracle.

   My life was as good as it was going to get. It was perfect. At that moment in time, everything was calm and perfect. It was a moment I would cherish. The moment only lasted for a little while.

  I was with Angel, and I felt a presence. A not good presence. An EVIL presence that I could only match with one person in vampire knight. Rido. Rido was Yuki's uncle. He had killed her parents trying to get to Yuki to drink her blood. He had brown hair and two different colored eyes. One blue,and one red. He scared the crap out of me. His aura was more evil than I could have imagined. He was even stronger than Naraku. It took Inuyasha and his 'gang' 8 seasons to defeat in the tv show!

    I quickly ran outside and went towards the aura. I saw Rido at the front gate of the school. He saw me and tried to attack me, but quit when I let my Pureblood side out. He looked at me with a curious look. He then smirked. I transported to the Chairman's office. When I got there, every one else was already there. "He's at the gate," I said. Everyone imidiatly got quiet, but then rushed outside to fend him off and get the Day class to safety.

   I also looked at Yuki and grabbed her arm. I knew every little crook and crany in this school, and I knew where Yuki would be absolutely safe from harm. I led her down stairs, many hallways, and many other passages. When we reached the room, I closed the door and sealed it off. No one could exit or enter until Rido was dead -exept for me.

    "Belle, why are you doing this? I need to be out there helping them defeat Rido!" she yelled. "If you want to help, take care of them," I said. I pointed behind her. She turned around and saw all of the Day class students. SHe trned back around and nodded her head. I smiled and transported out of the room to the battle grounds.

  The school was a complete mess. The place I grew up. Gone. I saw Zero and a lot of the Night class fighting Rido. I ran over to them, and Angel popped out. Everyone could see her and looked at me funny. I smiled and nodded. I character transformed with her, and I was wearing practically the same outfit that she wore. I pulled the purple shotgun from off of my back and loaded it with anti-vampire bullets. It helped a bit, but not too much. I growled and Angel spoke to me. 'Belle, do the incantation that I taught you." I nodded my head and sat down on the ground 'Japanese style.'

  I close the eyes, and began singing the incantation, or just the song Angel of Darkness.

   When I finished singing, a beam of light burst out of my hands towards Rido. He looked taken back. When the shock hit him, I cold have sworn that he had disintegrated, but alas, it is never that easy. When the light faded, he was standing there. There were rips in his clothes, and beaten up, but he was still alive. I pulled out my hunter gold rose, the same one that made a hole in Kaname's hand a while ago. I threw the rose and it hit it's target. Rido's heart. He yelled out in pain as he turned to dust.

   After the battle had ended, I went and surveyed the damage. All of the level Es were dead -thanks to the chairman- and the school was destroyed. The damage was great, but the Day class students were unharmed. Only a few kept their memories of what had happened. Yuki still went with Kaname. I almost died. After the battle, I was in my dorm room with Cassandra when Angel said her goodbye. She said that she was only here for the battle with Rido. That was her soul purpose. I was sad when she left, but remembered that she would always be in my heart.
