Belle's pov
Over the next few years, Zero and I 'bonded' in a way. He still hadn't figured out what the special thing I needed from the well was. We were best friends. Zero practically only trusted me. When he was in pain, 'cause of being a level D, I helped him, but he still hadn't drank any blood. He refused to. We both hated vampires, especially purebloods, but him way more than me. I had my reasons. Back to the first thing, we were inseparable. Zero actually had emotions! O.o He even smiled around me! None of them know yet about me being a half dog demon. High school was only a week away.
"What! We have to go to school!" Zero and I said. "Yes, you need an education if you ever want a job one day," the headmaster said. "....." Zero and I left the office. "The only good thing about high school with vampires will be being able to use our weapons for a chance. I haven't used the deathly rose since the Kaname incident," I say. "Yep, and again, that was awesome," Zero said. He even smiled. "Aww, the beast has feelings!" I yelled. He gave me the serious death glare. I ran back to my room and hopped onto the bed. I grabbed my phone and turned on bad apple by Rockleetist and Ashe. I sang along and danced along. I heard a smirk and I turned around and saw Zero at the balcony listening in. "Go away," I commanded. "What if I say no?" He asked. I jumped on him and tackled him to the ground. I gave him the 'that will happen' look. I got off of him and dusted myself off. "I think your ready to know about what I got all those years ago," I said. His eyes widened in shock. I looked around and found the bag. I opened it and took out the separate beads. I whispered the incantation and the beads formed a necklace around his neck. He tried to lift them off but they didn't. If he had a red robe, longer hair, and yellow eyes, he could be Inuyasha trying to take off the beads. It looked exactly the same. "What are these?!" he shouted. "Prayer beads. If you do something stupid, something will happen," I say. They disappeared. "Where did they go?" He asked. They are invisible right now."
