[6:30] The alarm clock buzzed, I opened my eyes then stretched and yawned, "I'm glad I don't have to work today!". I got up, dressed, and looked into Aiden's crib. You're so beautiful.

I headed into the kitchen and started a pot of coffee; then I had a very uneasy feeling come over me. Kat came in a few minutes later and found me staring into oblivion. "Amanda, what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing. I was just thinking about Andy."

Should I tell her I saw him? No, what good would it do, it'll just freak her out. "So, whatcha doing today?", she asked happily.

"First, I'm going to clean up this PIGSTY! Then who knows."

"Yeah, it is a mess, thank God I gotta go to work!", she laughed grabbing her stuff.

"You bitch.", I giggled.

She came over to me, kissed my cheek, and yelled, "Bye Mom!" as she ran out the door.

I poured me a cup of coffee then heard Aiden crying. "Awww, why are you crying Aiden?", I said walking to his crib. "Shhh, here you go." I found his pacifier and stuck it in his mouth; he started sucking away and went back to sleep. "Yep, you are your daddy's son!", I giggled then crept back to the living room; I grabbed my coffee and sat down.

[knock-knock]

"Kat, What did you forget now!", I groaned getting up and jerking the door open.

"Hi", Andy said staring at me.

GASP! I dropped my cup on the floor. Damn, those eyes! "Wh-What are you doing here?", I muttered.

"I wanted to see you.", he said flatly.

Realizing I'm standing in a puddle of coffee and broken glass, I left him standing there to grab a towel. I returned, bent down to clean up the mess and said, "Well, you've seen me, you can go now."

"No", he answered.

"How did you find me?", I questioned while walking towards the kitchen.

"Kat, I followed her home!"

Great! I dropped the broken glass in the trash and turned around, Andy was standing right behind me.

"Amanda, why did you leave me?", he asked looking straight into my eyes.

I searched his eyes and couldn't see what I was looking for. Does he know? Maybe he hasn't got the picture yet. Oh God! I've got to him out of here!

"Andy, it just wouldn't have worked, our lives were going in different directions. I'm happy with my life and you should be with yours.", I answered trying to sound cheery. "Now, you need to go. I have to get ready for work.", I continued trying to hurry him out the door.

"Amanda stop!", he said putting his hands on my shoulders.

Just as he did that Aiden cried out from the other room. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath then looked back up at Andy. He was biting his bottom lip and trying to keep the tears from rolling down his face, "Can I see him?".

I couldn't read his emotions, was he happy? Sad? Mad at me? I don't know; but it was painfully clear that he knew about Aiden the whole time.

"Yeah", I answered and lead him to my room. I pointed to the crib, he walked over and looked in.

Aiden was laying there crying until he noticed someone was there; his eyed widened and just stared at the man standing over him, like he already knew who he was. Aiden was dressed in a little black onesie and matching socks that had 'My Daddy Rocks!' printed on the front.

Andy stood there for the longest time just staring at him, I wish I knew what he was thinking! Then he picked him up and cradled him in his arms. "Hi Aiden!", he cooed. "Hi, I'm your daddy!" Then he looked over at me, "Amanda, he's beautiful".

Aiden went back to sleep in his arms, he gently laid him in his crib and we tiptoed out. I barely got the door shut when Andy demanded, "Come home with me!".

"Andy I can't, it wouldn't work and it's just not fair to you!"

"How can you say that?", he asked aggravated.

"Andy, having Aiden is a lot of work. Feeding him, cleaning bottles, changing a million diapers 24 hours a day. With all that and working to there's no time for yourself much less anyone else." I took another breath and continued, "Me and Aiden would just be an added burden; you're where you need to be in your life and you don't need anything else".

Andy shook his head with tears streaming down his face, "But I need you!".

Seeing him like that broke my heart but I have to stand my ground. He will eventually get use to us not being together and when he finds someone else; he'll forget about me and move on.

"Andy, you're welcome to come here anytime, day or night, to see Aiden he's yours too; but I'm not coming home with you."

He sighed, "Alright, I guess I'll go home now."

"Andy, it was good to see you! Take care of yourself okay?", I said trying to make him feel better.

"Yeah, you too.", he answered as he walked out the door.

ANDY'S POV:

I got in my car and drove away talking to myself, "I don't understand, why would she think they'd be a burden? Doesn't she know I love her and Aiden too? I fell in love with him the second I saw him! She's crazy! Yes, my band and everything's going great, but doesn't she know I would give it all up for them!"

Then the light bulb went off... Ohhh, that's what she was talking about! Now I get it! "I'll just have to prove to her I can do both. I WILL get her back!"

When I walked into the house everyone was waiting, "Did you see her?" "How about Aiden?" "What happened?" "Is she coming back?" a million questions at once.

"Yeah guys, I saw her and Aiden too! I got to hold him and he's perfect; I love him so much!" Then my smile faded away, "I asked her to come back but she said no."

"Why?", Ashley asked.

"Because she thinks they'll be a burden to me. She said the band and my life was going great and she would just be in the way."

"What does the band have to do with it?", C.C. questioned.

"She's afraid I'd give up the band (My dream) for her and Aiden; THAT'S why she left, she didn't want that to happen." Then I continued, "And I WOULD give it all up too! Just to have them HERE with ME! But, I'm going to prove to her I can do both."

After I finished my mini-speech we sat around talking, Sammi said she had something to do and left.
