chapter 10 - i love you

JUNGKOOK'S POV

"I lik-"

I was just about to confess to her but my words got cut off by somebody.

"JUNGKOOK! (Y/N)!" I hear somebody yelling our names.

It was Jin hyung.

He was with Sana, arms connected.

Are they dating?

But..

Ugh.. why does he need to ruin this moment?!

"Where have you guys been?" (Y/n) asked them.

"Well we decided to go together since you guys were taking too long." Jin explains.

"Oh.." (y/n) and i said together.

(Y/n) looked at them and spotted that their arms are locked together.

"What happen to both of you guys??" (Y/n) asked in a teasing tone knowing what had happened.

"Uhm.. we uhm.. are in a relationship." Sana explains shyly.

Jin nodded.

"When will you guys be?" Jin asks teasingly.

We both blushed.

"Don't joke like that hyunggg" I pout.

We then shared our stories to each other.

I check my watch and it shows 7 p.m.

We both headed to our bus.

I sat with (y/n) since Jin and Sana wanted to have their own time.

"So.. what did you want to tell me before Jin oppa interrupted us?" (Y/n) asks all of a sudden.

I don't know whether this is time.

I don't know what to do.

I don't know what to say.

I don't think it's time.

"Uhm.. nothing.." i said after hesitating.

"Oh okay.." (y/n) said kinda dissapointed. I don't know why.

YOUR POV
Jungkook and I sat in the bus together.

I was thinking about what happened earlier.

What will he say?

I finally took the courage to ask him.

"So.. what did you want to tell me before Jin oppa interrupted us?" I ask Jungkook.

I waited for Jungkook to answer my question.

I dont know why but i expected that he will say...

I like you.

Jungkook hesitated for some time which feels like a year to me to know his answer.

He finally said.

"Uhm.. nothing.." Jungkook finally said after hesitating for so long.

After waiting for so long, the answer is only this?

I was very dissapointed.

I shouldn't have expected that the school's most popular boy would liked me.

But one thing for sure,

I'm falling in love with this boy.

For the rest of the time at the bus,

We stayed silent.

All i could hear was Jin oppa and Sana's talking.

I was jealous.

How could they have a beautiful relationship and for us, i mean me.. i could only love him.

I look to my left to check on Jungkook.

He was sleeping.

I just really want him to become my boyfriend one day.

I decided to sleep too since i was tired.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

JUNGKOOK'S POV
I was awake by a heavy thing dropped to my right shoulder.

It was (y/n)'s head.

She was sleeping very peacefully.

She lays her head in my shoulder.

I look to my watch and saw the time which shows 8 p.m.

Wow. How long have we been here?

I noticed that (y/n) have been shivering since it was cold.

I took off the jacket that i was wearing and wears them in (y/n)'s cold body.

I could see that (y/n) was no longer shivering.

I just wish that i can make her my girlfriend.

I wanted to have the courage like how Jin hyung did it to Sana.

I checked my phone and saw a lot of messages from my hyungs.

MESSAGES:

Jimin: how was it jungkookie?? I heard from Jin hyung that you and (y/n) were together the whole day??

Jhope: yah kookie.. how was your day? Did you confessed yet to her? You have told us about your plan of confessing to her today.. so how was it?

Jimin: please answer me jungkookieeeeeee~

V: Jungkook, don't forget to buy me some souvenir okay?? I wanted an alien headband.. have you bought it for me?

Suga: good luck with her, maknae! Fighting!!!

And there was still many more messages from hyungs...

I was too lazy to reply all of their messages so i decided to just tell them once i get back.

My heart dropped when i remembered about the plans that i was planning of confessing to her.

I was excited about it.

I was excited for the day to come and make her mine.

But i guess

I failed.

I guess i still dont have the courage to do that.

A single tear dropped from the corner of my eyes.

I let it fall.

I just really want her but i'm just afraid that our friendship will end because i confessed to her.

I know that she likes that jerk, Lee Taemin.

But i still can't give up on her because i love her very much.

Just then, a warm hand approach my face and wipe my tears away.

I look to see who's hand was that and it was (y/n)'s.

"What's wrong?" She asked looking worried.

"Uhm.. is there a tear?" I asked, pretending i wasn't crying.

"Yeah there is." (Y/n) asked confused.

"It sometimes happen when my eyes are dry." I lied.

"Oh okay.. i thought there was something making you sad."

I guess she cared for me.

I smiled knowing that she cared for me.

I guess i'm not wrong picking the girl i loved out of many girls.
