JUNGKOOK'S POV
"Jungkook-ah, why are you not talking the whole time?" Jimin hyung asked me which made me snap from my own world.
"U-ugh, n-nothing h-hyung" i stutter. "Something's wrong," taehyung hyung stated, taking a closer look at me.
"Tell us, jungkook." Yoongi hyung told me to spill out what i had in mind, so i managed to spill them out.
I sighed before telling them what happened."So eventually when i was heading back here from 7-eleven, i b-bumped onto t-"
"Omg this is so thrilling!! This sounds like a drama!kyaaa!!" Taehyung hyung cutted me off and started fanboying.
"Yah! Stop it, we're getting serious here," hoseok hyung nudged taehyung hyung in the arm and taehyung hyung turned silent. "Continue please," jin hyung told me to continue.
"As i said, i bumped onto-" i stopped midway and gulped my saliva. I took a deep breath and continue. "I bumped onto t-taemin and-" i got cut off, again. But this time by all of the hyungs'.
"Wha-what?!" Hoseok hyung yelled, totally shock. Well, all of the hyungs were shock. "Dont tell me you did something stupid with him," namjoon hyung glared at me. I gulped nervously.
Yes hyung. I did something very very very very stupid. And i regret it hyung. Help me. Help me escape this bet.
"Kay, let jungkookie continue" jimin announced and i started telling them again.
"I bumped onto taemin and he offered me a b-bet." I stopped.
"What bet?" Yoongi hyung asked me. The other hyungs nod their head, agreeing to yoongi hyung. I took a deep breath before telling them what the bet is about.
"The bet is about (y/n)..." i trailed off and all the hyungs' eyes became big in curiosity and in shock.
"So taemin made a bet for the both of us t-to c-confess to (y/n) t-tommorow and we'll let (y/n) p-pick who she loves." I finished explaining.
"And.. do you take the bet?" Jin hyung asked me. I could only sigh.
"Dont tell me you agree to him about the stupid bet," yoongi hyung said.
"Mianhae." I managed to say and i could see their face turned into a frown filled with dissapoinment.
"Well is there any punishment if you lose?" Namjoon hyung asked me. I hesitated at first but eventually nodded.
"What's the consequences?" Jimin hyung asked and i could only sigh in frustration.
"The winner gets to be with (y/n), m-meanwhile..." i gulped nervously before continuing, "the loser needs to s-stay away from (y/n).."
"Yah pabo! You know right (y/n) liked taemin! So why do you even took the bet?!" Taehyung hyung yelled at me frustrated. I could feel my vision getting blurry caused by tears filling up my eye.
Taehyung realised my condition and muttered, "mianhae jungkook-ah,"
To think about it, i was stupid. Stupid indeed. Why would i accept the bet when i know taemin would win? Why did i accept it when (y/n) was clearly in love with taemin? Why? Just why? Why am i so dumb? I hate myself.
A tear escaped my eye and i hurriedly wipe it away before my hyungs could see it. But soon, another tear escaped. And another, and another, and another. It couldnt stop.
I soon started making crying noises while covering my face in embarassment. I'm so dumb. No one would understand me right now. Why do i have such a complicated love life? Why me? Why is it so hard to say 'i love you'? Why cant i? I just hate myself so much.
Should i continue my love for (y/n)?
A sudden arm was then around me, hugging me. I looked up to see who was holding me with my teary, puffy eyes. It was jin hyung. I then continued crying in the embrace of jin hyung.
But little did i know while i was crying, all the hyungs came one by one and embraced me for comfort.
"If you really loved (y/n), give it a try boy. You'll never know what'll she react," jin hyung shot me a wink and i giggled, having confidence in myself.
"You know i've been thinking, you and (y/n) has been through so much times together. I envy you guys." Hoseok hyung teased me making a light shade of pink appear in my cheeks.
"Good luck tommorow jungkookie!" Namjoon hyung cheered me up. "Dont be nervous! Okay?" Jimin hyung joined cheering me up. Soon, all the hyungs started yelling and making those aggresive movements, cheering me up so cheerful.
And now, i have gained many confidence from my hyungs and please, i hope this is not the wrong choice to do and dont make me regret please (y/n)..
Because,
you made me fall in love with you too much.
