Part 24 Play Date!

I jumped up from the couch as I heard somebody at the door. I heard somebody running down the stairs of the house as I started to unlock the door already knowing who it was. I smiled as I saw Raider. He walked into the house and we bumped fists.

"Yo! What're you up to?" he greeted.

"Nothing much just looking for something to watch on the Tv."

"Oh. You seem bored."

"I am." I laughed and he chuckled.

"We should go to the park or something." Raider suggested.

"You think our parents would let us?"

"I don't know. I think my parents are leaving." he said pointing back to the door as his parents were slowly going out as they talked with my mom.

They seemed nice like Raider,but something I couldn't help but notice was their hair. His dad's hair was Orange almost red while his mom's hair was dark brown,but yet Raider's hair was a dirty blond almost orange like his dad's.

'Was dad still watching that show? It was interesting,but I wouldn't say it was my favorite. So I would watch it again,but if I had a choice I would rather watch regular cartoons or something.'

"So you think your parents would take us?" Raider asked me catching my attention again.

"Yeah it depends. If my dad's and sister's face still stuck to the Tv then that's a no."

He laughed as I said this. "What are they watching?"

"You can see for yourself but I wouldn't recommend you to." I said walking up the stairs with him behind me.

"Why? Can't be that bad." he chuckled

"Well they're in that room." 

He peeked his head in and a look of shock appeared onto his face. "No way..." It slowly turned into a smile. "Is that anime!? I love this part!"  he went into the room as he sat on the bed with them watching in 'awe'.

I went into the room,too. I looked at the TV and there was the boy again,but he looked completely different. He was standing there cracking his fingers. White hair and black nails. 'Do you know what 1000-7 is?' he asked a shirtless man with blonde hair as he began to attack him with what looked like tentacles. Then he took a...centipede? Out of his ear...?

"What happened!?" I asked them surprised.

"Stuff." dad said without looking away from the TV.

I sat down and watched it with them. Stunned,horrified,and amazed all at the same time. Seeing this episode made me feel different about anime. I would totally watch this kind of stuff anytime and choose it over regular cartoons,maybe not a movie but definitely over any cartoon. The way the story escalated still makes me wonder how?

Dad turned off the TV and turned around. "You're Raider,right?"

"Yep!" they shook hands.

"I'm Eren. Eren's dad." he joked and Raider laughed. "This is Saluna." He introduced her and they just nodded at each other. "and have you met Jr's mom?"

"No. Saw her,but didn't really meet her."

"Well let's go so you can meet her!" dad laughed and we all went downstairs.

"Hey dad?" 

"What?"

"Can we go somewhere?" I asked

"Somewhere?"

"Yeah like the park."

"Oh! Uh...maybe. I'll tell you later okay?"
