Kita stormed aboard the shuttle enraged at being trapped by three children. Still, all they requested was to be saved. Nothing about how I do it or what I leave.
"If you can walk, get outside and gather as much of those bastards weapons and ammunition as you can," she yelled to the Black Watch in the shuttle.
The men didn't hesitate, even those who shouldn't have gone went. Snowy, Sarin, and Anthrax still lay in the chambers. Sarin's head moved. Kita went to check on her. Sarin's face lit when she saw Kita. Kita waved and Sarin smiled. Kita could tell she was in a great deal of pain, even in the chamber. Kita kissed the glass to tell her to get better soon. Sarin blew her a kiss.
Kita knelt next to Snowy. She looked miserable. Red splotches stained her silky fur. Kita wrapped on the glass to get her attention. Snowy turned her head and gave Kita a smile. Kita mouthed the words, "I love you." Snowy replied with the same. Kita stroked the glass, wishing she could comfort her. Snowy motioned for her to go and do what needed to be done. Kita gave the glass a long kiss. Snowy's eyes sparkled in return. Kita stood, wiped a pair of tears from her eyes. and went to help gather their spoils.

A giant stack of weapons and ammunition took up a third of the shuttle's cargo bay. Some of the men stood to make room for the wounded. Kita couldn't help but admire their camaraderie. If I'm going to have a personal fighting force, this is the one I want. Zidin had been right, again.
"Everyone's aboard. I'm going to boost for the station," said Omega.
Kita shook her head. "We're not going to the station. We're going to Arcone."
The men who heard looked worried, even Zidin looked nervous.
"Don't worry any of you I won't let anything happen to you," said Kita.
"Ok, you're the boss. I hope you're not planning on doing any fighting. Your three other angels aren't going to be ready by then," said Omega.
"Good, I don't want them to be."
"I hope you have a good plan," said Zidin.
"Of course I do."

The shuttle touched down on a flat piece of ground covered in a mixture of sand and scrub grass. The main village and the seat of government for Arcone wasn't far away. Prometheus exited first climbing high into the sky. Kita, Sarge, Zidin, Xeen, and Vanouse walked down the ramp into a hot and humid wall. Armed Arconians surrounded the shuttle to see what had come down from the sky.
Without hesitation, Kita walked to the Arconian defensive line. The Arconians didn't waver, but they didn't advance either.
"You can put your weapons away or is this the proper greeting for Lady Rose?"
The Arconians looked at each other. Kita changed her roses from black to red. "Better?" She said flippantly.
The Arconians lowered their weapons and knelt bearing their swords. I forgot about this.
"Get up, you don't need to kowtow to me, I'm a warrior just like you," Kita said with stern smile.
Her statement seemed to hit a chord with them. They stood and stowed their weapons. The largest came and embraced her.
"It's good of you to finally come home, lassie. It's been ages since Lady Rose has set foot in her homeland."
The man's accent had such a heavy burr it took Kita a few moments to understand him.
"My apologies to you all. I would have come sooner, but as soon as I received my roses, I found myself leading an army. During the conflict I died and I have just returned to fighting status." She felt the deserved to know the truth of why she'd been away. They'll have to dig up my mother to have her explain her absence.
