We finish up dinner and go out for ice cream Theo and Lydia are talking about school and stiles and I are lagging behind.
"Y/n-"
"Not now stiles, you've broken my heart the least you can do right now is give me time," I sigh walking off to Theo.
I can't believe I lasted the whole night, but the more I faked being ok, I guessed the more I believed that I was. Theo takes me home and on the way back I start crying. He pulls the car over and opens my door and hugs me.
"Cmon, y/n I want to show you something," he says pulling me along
He takes me to a huge tree in the middle of the forest.
"Where are we?" I ask looking up at how tall it is.
"Follow me," he says climbing up the tree with ease.
I climb up behind me and we get to the top of it, Theo stands up and I can practically see the whole world from up here. He grabs my hand to make me stand up as well. We sway in the wind.
"Wow, this is amazing. Why did you take me here?"
"I come here to think I guess, you can come here when you want as well," he says smiling.
"I could tell that stiles regretted what he did," Theo says, sitting down on the tree branch, I sit down with him.
"No he didn't," I sigh
"Yes he did, he loves you. What he did was stupid and believe me I know what you are going through, it sucks,"
"I used to be in love with this girl and then she met someone else and then she ignored me like nothing happened, and she's sitting next to me right now,"
"Theo- I don't like you like-"
"I know, I don't think I do anymore. I kind of have a crush on Malia," he blushes
"So friends?" I ask holding out my hand.
"Friends," he said smiling slightly
He drives me home and I sleep. My dreams are filled with Lydia and stiles, I actually think the person I've always loved and probably always love will never be mine again. And I'll probably never forgive him because that's just who I am.
I walk into school and see stiles, his eyes are read and he looks like he hasn't slept all night. I take a look at myself. I think I look like a mess as well.
I see Lydia walk up to stiles and kiss his cheek but he keeps staring at me. He then says something to Lydia and they talk for a while. She looks upset and then she storms off.
For the whole day stiles is staring at me, in every class and at lunch break. I hang out with Scott, only Scott. I tell him what happened. Even though he didn't know me and stiles were dating, he knows now.
"What does he smell like?" I ask Scott
"Sad, lonely, empty," he concentrates "he dosent smell good
"Oh," is all I could say
Scott drives me home and hangs out with me, I hear a knock on the door. I open the door and stop in my tracks.
There's stiles with roses in his hand red roses, my favourite flower, how did he know.
"Y/n, I know that you don't love me anymore and your angry but just please tell me what I can do to fix this,"
He hands me the flowers and I take them,
"You don't get it do you?" I ask him "You can't show up to my house and give my fucking flowers, ok? I'm already in love with you stiles, so much. I just can't be with you because every time I look at you, I see you with her," I start yelling tears are streaming down my face.
He stumbles back, in shock. He looks at Scott who's standing in the corridor, thinking we can't see him.
"I-I get it y/n, I won't stop loving you.ever." stiles says moving backwards. "I'll see you round Scott," stiles says walking away with his head down.
I don't even bother to close the door before I break down, crying and clutching the flowers stiles gave me, as if my life depends on it, stiles sees me and the look on his face is pure sadness. I know that he wants to come and comfort me but he can't because I'll cry even more. Scott runs over to me and sits down next to me I put my head in his chest and I'm practically sitting on him. I keep crying and he keeps comforting me and I'm clutching the roses into my chest and the pain becomes numb and I can't feel a thing.
Btw (Theo is good in this book) that's why people don't mind him and ur friends with him :)
