I was sleeping comfortably in my bed when my phone rang. I rolled over and picked it off the floor beside me. I had received a call. What does he want, it's eight in the morning! I pouted at the time and picked his call.

"Whaaaat? Aren't you sick?" I asked in a muffled voice as I buried my face into the white feathered pillow.

"Hey, I'm coming over at ten, so be ready. And, no, I got better. Probably because of your shit soup." Hunter laughed. He sounded much better than the day before. He actually didn't sound like he was still sick, and I honestly felt a little relieved.

"Shut up!" I smirked with amusement.

"Nah..." Hunter lightly chuckled from the other line.

We exchanged our goodbyes and he hung up. I laid in bed, flat on my back and stared up at the ceiling. My vision was blurry, as being fresh from sleep. Suddenly there was a small knock on my bedroom door, and the door slowly opened. Next thing I knew, the lights were turned on.

"My eyes are burning!" I immediately cried, lifting the covers over my head.

"Hehehe!" Delilah's giggle flowed into my ears and the next thing I knew, she was sitting on top of my legs.

"Oh come on, Deli..." I whined.

"Get up, get up!" She beamed energetically.

"Ugh..." I sighed and sat up. I rubbed my eyes sleepily and yawned. I extended my arms and took a satisfying stretch as well.

"Huh? Who dat?" My eyes fell on Delilah. She was holding my phone, staring at my album of Antonio. I began to sweat and quickly snatched my phone away from her tiny hands.

"Oh, he's nobody!" I laughed nervously. She furrowed her eyebrows, crossed her arms, and frowned.

"Tell me!" She cried. I ignored her and began to delete photos.

"Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me!" She persisted and I sighed heavily.

"He's an asshole I caught feelings for." I admitted. Suddenly I realized what I had said and I gasped.

"Don't you dare─"

"Mommy! Skye said a bad word!" Delilah tattled, yelling her sentance.

"Skye!" My mom yelled from downstairs. I rolled my eyes and fell back onto my bed.

Then, the doorbell rang, echoing through the halls. Who could that be?

Delilah raced down the stairs and I followed. She reached the front door before I, but she struggled to pull open the door. I opened the door, and there stood Hunter.

"What? It's only about 8:10!" I looked at him, utterly confused.

"I was missing you too much." He winked.

"Sweety, who's at the door?" My mom called out behind. Before I could respond, she popped up behind me. Her expression brightened the moment she spotted Hunter. She inched closer to me and whispered into my ear, but not quiet enough.

"Oh goodness, Skye, where did you find this cutie? I'm surprised someone so good looking even acknowledges you." She whispered to me, but loud enough for Hunter to hear.

"Mom!" I cried. Hunter began laughing and so did my mom. Delilah began laughing as well, all though only because they were.

"Well, don't just stand there, get inside!" My mom opened the door wider, and Hunter walked inside.

"I'll start making cookies!" My mom quickly said, and shot off to the kitchen. Hunter closed the door, and Delilah stared up at him dreamily. Hunter noticed and he bent down next to her. He gently ruffled he hair with a bright smile.
