My Big Brother, Niall Horan

Chapter 25

Brian fiinally takes his baby girl in his arms after returning from the hospital. He looks down at her and smiles. "She's so beautiful." he says

I smile. I really do hope she turns out to be a daddy's girl.

Brian's hand was without a doubt broken. I feel really bad though, I broke his hand just by squeezing it!  I had no idea I was that strong.

Brian yawns. "You can go to bed if you want." I say

"As much as I love hanging out with her, sleep would be nice, considering I only got 3 hours of it last night." he says, "Goodnight baby girl." he kisses her forehead then hands her over to me, leaving it to be just me and Niall.

"I'm really proud of you." he says to me as I hand Madison over to him.

He looks down at his new baby niece and smiles, "Wow...she's just so...wow." he says

I pick up his phone and hack his twitter. I post a picture of him and Madison. I take her back and hand him his phone, "Say whatever you want."

I smile down at my phone when I see his tweet pop up.

"Niall..." I say

"Yes Adriana?" he looks over at me

"I don't know if I should be a mom..."

He looks shocked, "Well...why not?"

I sigh, "Well, I'm 16, you're my brother, you're busy. I don't want you to have to worry about me all the time. And I don't think that I would be suitable."

"Listen here you lil shet," he says scooting forward a little bit, "You are going to make an amazing mom. Sure, you're young, but you have Brian, and me, and the rest of the crew. We're gonna help you through it. And yes, I will be worrying about you a lot, but it's not like that's any different than the past! I just have another thing to be worried about: making sure you and the baby are okay. And they might not even be a bad thing."

"Really?" I ask

"Really," he nods. He hugs me, "Well, I think I'm gonna go on up to bed too. I am also very tired," he gets up and gives me back my daughter, then walks upstairs.

I sigh. Maybe this mom thing could work out.

She's only been here for like 8 hours, I can't doubt myself yet.

I look down at her.

She's so beautiful, she looks so much like Brian, but  I also see a little touch of Niall in her face.

I've spent so much time obsessing over her that I didn't realize how tired I was until now. I turn off all except one of the lights, and walk up the stairs.

I carefully place Madison in her crib, and lay down next to Brian, cuddling up to him.

I'm just about to fall asleep, when I think Brian's asleep too. But he wraps an arm around me, pulls me closer, and kisses my head, "I love you Adriana," he whispers in my ear

"I love you too," I whisper back.

And then I'm asleep.
