Running inside the house, I immediately dashed to the beautiful baby that was in Ryan's arms.

I approached them slowly, squinting at Ryan. "Give me the baby," I whispered. "And no one gets hurt."

Ryan chuckled, "Always a good time with you around, Eva." He complimented, before handing Sapphire over to me gently.

Just holding the beautiful baby in my arms was enough to make the thoughts of my idiot brother and Erin completely vanish, as well as the words I hadn't forgot Alec said to me.

Sapph's big, gorgeous eyes looked up at me with complete wonder, complete awe.

It took every ounce of strength in me not to cry when she looked at me like that, especially in the situation I was in currently.

I heard the front door open and close, indicating Alec had brought in my stuff. I smiled at him, earning me a breathtaking smile in return.

Alec sat my stuff down in their guest room before coming and standing right behind me, his tall frame easily seeing over my head.

"Eva.." he started, his voice sounding almost.. broken.

I shook my head, a few stray tears leaking from my eyes. I never took my eyes off of Sapphire, I was afraid that if I did, I'd let the rest of the tears and the rage come out, and I didn't want to deal with that right now. I wanted to focus on this beautiful baby and the calmness and comfort she was bringing to me.

"Eva honestly.. There is no excuse for the things I said to you.. I didn't mean them and I know you probably don't believe that, but it's true. I was just so mad that you've been put through so much and yet you're still going through shit and I can't help you.. I get so mad because I'm in love with you and I have been since I can remember. I said those things because I know you're too good for me. I know you're moving away after senior year to start your life and I'll stay here because I accidentally started mine too early.." I heard his voice break this time and my back stiffened.

Alec loved me?

More tears spilled out of my eyes and I let them go, too caught up in my emotions to wipe them away or will them to stop.

I heard Alec take a large breath in as if he was about to speak again,but I shook my head.

"Alec.." I whispered. "You have everything I've ever wanted. Family you can depend on, a beautiful baby, parents you can talk to.. You have an amazing life. Please don't take it for granted."

I turned around to face him and my breath got caught in my throat. He had tears running down his face as he looked down at me.

"Eva we all love you. Ryan, Lizzy, mom and dad.. Me.. We all love you. You will always have us, please don't think that you're alone because you aren't."

Alec took Sapph from my arms and held both of my hands in one of his as he cradled his daughter in the other arm. "Evangeline, I'm wholeheartedly in love with you."

More tears spilled from my eyes, my voice wouldn't come out. I took one of my hands from his and cupped his cheek, wiping away some of his tears. "I love you too," I whispered lightly, my voice barely coming out since my throat was so full of emotions.

"I'm prepared to take care of you, however that may be. I'm ready to settle down and I don't want to do it with anyone else but you, Eva. You, me and Sapph, that's all I need. Please give me a chance."

My heart swelled. I never thought I'd be hearing those words from Alecsander Logan, the kid who teased me and has known me all my life, my first real crush..

I felt overwhelmed, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from being happy and giving Alec an answer.

"Yes." I said lightly, a smile breaking out on my face.

The moment was short lived when Lizzy and Ryan burst into Alec's room yelling and screaming.

"FINALLY!" Ry yelled. "Seriously, how long have we been waiting for this, Liz?"

The eldest of the Logan siblings grinned, her arms folded across her chest. "He's been in love with her for years, little brother."

To get confirmation, I looked at Alec. His gorgeous tanned face was flushed, the apples of his cheeks twinging red.

I couldn't help the massive grin that spread across my face. THE Alecsander Logan had been in love with me, Evangeline Edwards, for years? How interesting.

"Really Liz? Ryan? Do you know how much dirt I have on you two? Liz, two words: 13th birthday. Ryan: bathroom dancer."

Ryan and Liz's faces both paled, obviously the memories of past horror stories terrifying them enough to cease the teasing on their brother.

"Welcome to the family, Eva!" Liz quickly said before bolting out of the door, Ryan following quickly afterwards.

okay hi so i honestly have no excuses for my absence but lots of new things have happened!

-im gonna be an aunt (it's a girl!!)

-im officially a sophomore in high school (im a baby yes i know)

-i went to MEXICO OMG IT WAS SO AMAZING THE WATER WAS SO BEAUTIFUL

-^i went on a cruise

-um i mean idk those are the main things, ive been alright i just needed a break from everything :)) im back now though!!
