{evangeline's perspective}
Waking up the next morning, I felt power surging through my body.
I took my time showering and getting dressed, knowing I'd have all day to shop for my new wardrobe.
Taking a gaze into the mirror, I decided a change was necessary. A new hair color. My hair was currently a blondish color, and that just won't do for me.
I'll go blue.
Or black?
I shrugged, fixing my fringe and walking out of my suite and into the hallway. Casually strolling into the elevator, I hummed a few songs before I was on ground level.
Giving a small smile and wave to the desk manager, I walked out to my car.
Sliding in and closing the door, I started my car up and tapped my fingers against the steering wheel, driving to my destination: Beautiful Now salon.
Pulling into the parking lot, I parked my car and got out, locking my doors. Walking into the salon, I grinned, knowing this was the beginning of a change.
Walking into the salon, I was immediately enveloped into a giant bear hug. "EVANGELINE SAPPHIRE! WHY HAVENT YOU VISITED ME LATELY?" I heard a loud male voice boom.
A grin on my face, I returned the bear hug. "Sorry, Rex. Life's been pretty crazy lately!" I smiled as he directed me to my usual spot.
A knowing grin on his face, he held my shoulders. "So what will it be today?" He asked, fixing his dark quiff in the mirror.
I tapped my chin in mock thought. "I want a change. A big one." I grinned. "But don't cut my hair, it's just now getting to the length I've wanted for like, the years." I laughed.
"Color? Highlight? Makeover? Nails? Girl, I got you. Whatever you want done, consider it done!" He leaned down and kissed my cheek, nuzzling my neck.
I'd always had a crush on Rex, he's undeniably beautiful. With perfect dark hair, astonishing hazel eyes, and the perfect body, he was every woman's dream guy.
And best thing? He's straight.
But he's a hardcore player.
"Rex, I'm thinking going a soft pastel blue. What do you think?" I asked thoughtfully.
His hazel eyes lit up with excitement. "Yes!"
I nodded. "Then pastel blue it is."
-
A few hours later, my hair was a beautiful pastel blue color, with subtle hints of pastel purple.
I loved it.
As I was going to the nail dryer, Rex followed me. "So, Eva," he mused. "Can I ask you something?"
I nodded absentmindedly.
He looked down slightly. "Well, I've been wanting to settle down lately. And Evangeline, I was wondering if.. Maybe... You'd want to go on a date with me?"
I looked up at him with wide eyes, not expecting that.
Michael Rex Anderson wanted to settle down?
And with me?
Immediately, a smile lit up my face. "Of course I will, Rexxy." I answered happily.
"Really?"
"Duh, silly." I said, a stupid grin on my face.
Pulling me into another hug, Rex kissed my lips lightly. "You won't regret this, I promise!" He swore, making me laugh.
-
After getting everything done, I headed into my car and to the hotel.
Driving, I tapped my thumbs absentmindedly against the steering wheel, humming along to the songs on the radio.
Pulling into the hotel parking lot, I grabbed my bags I had bought that day and started walking into the hotel, giving a small wave to the desk clerk.
Taking the elevator, I smiled at how my day went.
A minute later, I was on my floor and got off the elevator.
Waking to my suite and unlocking it, I dropped my bags suddenly.
"Why are you here?" I demanded.

Woah hey guys,, so yes, it's been a long time since I've updated this story. But life's just been a lil hectic lately,,, my bad.
My grandpa died on May twenty first, so yeah my family's been grieving and such. His funerals on Monday (Memorial Day) so yeah :(
Plus, I'm not even out of school yet. I have Tuesday and then I'm done, but I'm switching schools again so I gotta do all this junk with that plus say goodbye to my friends, which is gonna suck so much ):
But anyways, here's this chapter. I'm thinking about updating demented a lil more, but idk many minds not necessarily in the correct place at the moment. Forgive me.
Ps, the picture is evangeline after the change. Well, I envisioned her hair that color, but it's longer, waist length. And her eyes are a striking bright green color. Not blue.
See you soon maybe idk.
Much love (&hate),
Kalynne.
