I woke up the next morning, my eyes puffy and red.

Of course.

After showering and brushing my teeth, I dressed myself in one of my brothers' sweatshirts and a pair of black leggings.

Swiftly climbing into my car, I noticed something was different.

And then I looked down.

I forgot to put on shoes.

Grumbling, I walked back inside and slipped on some socks and converse. Climbing into my car again, I drove not to school, but to Alec's house. I want to see Sapph.

I knocked on their door and heard violent cries coming from inside their house.

What the hell is happening in there?

I opened the door to complete chaos.

"Get the hell out of here, Tanya! You have no right to see her!" I heard Alec yell.

Who the shit is Tanya.

"Excuse me?" I said, walking in.

"Oh, Eva, hey. Kinda thought you were that crazy bitch Tanya, because we just kicked her out. Here, please calm Sapphie down. She's insane." He said out of breath, handing me the screaming little baby.

"Mind telling me who the hell Tanya is?" I quirked an eyebrow.

He gave me a look. "She's Sapphire's birth mother's sister, also Ryan's psycho ex girlfriend."

"Ahh, and what did she do to be labeled psycho?"

Alex grimaced, probably at the memory. "Well at first, when Sapphire had just gotten here and Ryan has just started dating her, she had come over to see Ryan, and found her niece. She was really excited, and asked to hold her. I said yes and let her hold Sapph, but Sapph was having none of it. She screamed and screamed. Me, being the amazing, wonderful, sexy father I am, went to go check on her." He paused, looking me straight in the eye as he picked up Sapphire's toys. "Tanya was trying to shove Sapph into the blender. At first, I was like 'oh, okay, who hasn't tried to shove Sapph in the blender after an episode?' And let it slide. But then, I caught her attempting to feed Sapph rat poison. She was adamant on Sapphire dying,"

My scowl grew. No one hurts my Sapph and gets away with it. "I'm going to feed Tanya rat poison and then shove her in the blender. See how she likes it."

Alec laughed and kissed my head. "That is a show I'd pay to watch," he grinned.

Changing the subject, I asked, "So what are you going to do after graduation?" I put Sapph in her little swing and started rocking her.

"I don't know, I can't really take Sapphire to college with me. I've been thinking about online classes, though." He paused, kissing Sapphire's head. "What about you?"

I sighed loudly. "I'm getting as far away from my brothers as I can." Putting my head in my hands, I furiously rubbed at the headache I felt coming on.

"Wanna talk about it?"

This is why I love Alec, he always is there to listen. You could talk for hours about a stupid test grade, and he would sit there and agree with you, and never seemed uninterested. He's truly an amazing guy.

"Hudson got Erin Stevens pregnant." I said lowly.

"Woah, wow. I never thought Hudson would stoop that low. I guess it was a slow week?"

I smacked Alec's arm. "Don't even. He knew what she did to me, he saw the letters, he knew what she did to Andrew. He knew why Tony and I broke up."

"Yeah, well, sorry to break it to you, Eva, but everyone knew Tony was boning Erin. They both posted videos and pictures everywhere."

I take it back. Alec's an asshole. A big, stupid asshole.

I glared at him. "Well I'm sorry that I didn't want to fucking believe that my boyfriend of three years was cheating."

"It was pretty pathetic for a while," Alec said, rocking Sapph. "You were adamant he wasn't cheating, even when he made out with Erin in front of your face, and showed you one of their many sex-tapes."

I wiped away an angry tear. "I may have been pathetic over an ex, but at least I'm not a teenage parent."

Low blow, I know.

"Really? Because the only reason you're not, is because you're a prude. And no guy wants you." His eyes were dark with anger.

There was a sound of a hand against flesh. I had slapped Alec. "I hate you!" I screamed at him.

"Right back at you, sweetheart." He smirked.

I slapped him again, harder this time. "Sapphire deserves a better father than the piece of shit human in front of me." I whispered harshly before running to my car.

I started it, and just drove. I didn't want to go home, and what had become my second home over the passed few days had become my personal hell.

Deciding to stay at a hotel until Monday, I checked into Coral Reef Hotel and purchased the most expensive suite.

Once in my room, I decided I needed a game plan. Since Alec had said 'no guy wants me,' why not make them?

Tomorrow, I will go and buy new clothes, I will become a new person.

I will become a new Evangeline.

Anyway, soooooooooooo I'm gonna go now, I'm still sick (I haven't explained my sickness on this story but if you read Insanity & my updates then you'll know I was recently in the hospital and stuffs)
