Jasper's POV
«»«»«»«»It was finally Friday and everybody walked around the school like zombies. Everyone but me, because I was happy and proud.
Mouse and I kissed properly, and although we agreed to not repeat this, we didn't say that we couldn't think and relive the moment.
I thought about her gentle, skinny fingers tracing my abs and how she touched me as if I was glass.
"Hey, if your mouth hangs open any longer you'll be drooling all over the floor, looser." An annoying yet sweet voice called from behind me. I turned around, seeing Monica standing there. I give her a goofy grin as she rolled her eyes. "Take any longer and I'll kick your ass so hard that you'll fly to class."
I close my locker door. I had my books tucked under my arm as Monica slapped my back. "Alright, alright." I say as we start to walk to class, squeezing through all the teenagers who didn't seem to be excited to get to class. "I've never seen you so eager to go to Maths class. What happened to the Monica that I know and hate?" She punches my arm. "Ouch." I grin at her as we enter the empty classroom.
Monica and I had Maths, English and History together. Lucky, I guess. We only have History with Mouse, other than that she's by herself. But she's strong. She'll be fine. I think...
"I need to tell you something." Monica told me, her eyes showed that she was anxious yet excited for what she needed to tell me.
"Then tell me. What are you waiting for?" I encourage her and she pushed me into a seat. She takes one next to me and swings her legs around to face the front of the classroom. I figured that I should do the same.
As she started to set her workspace up, she told me what she so eagerly needed to tell me. "Okay, so a staff member found out who attacked Mouse."
The incident was only yesterday, followed my the kiss later that afternoon. She did stay for dinner, but left straight after to look after her aunt, who I was still slightly suspicious about.
My eyes widened. "Who was it?"
She shot me a look. "Take a wild guess."
"She didn't..." I clench my teeth together so hard that I thought they were going to crack. I rolled my hands into fists, but I knew that I couldn't hit Tiffany, even though she was a b*tch.
"Oh yeah, and there's actually a hidden camera in the bathrooms. We watched the footages and, oh my, it was violent."
I blink. "Wait, there're cameras in the bathrooms?!"
Monica rolled her eyes. "Yeah. They said that bad things happened in the bathroom areas. So for better security and safety, they added cameras. Anyway, did you hear what I just said?"
"Yeah, yeah. I did." I nodded quickly. You don't ever ask Monica to ask what she said or ask for her to repeat what she said. I heard pretty... violent... stories about people who did those things and wow. "What kind of things did they do?"
