Okay, celebrating my 10th chapter (basically).
Woo Hoo! 🎉
I guess that I'd like to thank my friends for encouraging me although I didn't have a lot of confidence in my writing.
I'd like to thank the people who still read my book even though there was mistakes and bad chapters because of damn writing blocks.
Okay, it's only my tenth chapter so I shouldn't get too carried away. 😂
I'm just a very excited person.Parteh

Jasper's POV
«»«»«»«»I drank the fruity punch as I observed Mouse. She was wearing a skin-tight dress that stops just above her knees and it was a very dark grey. Her long brown hair was curled and her make-up was amazing. But most of all, she was dancing with that newbie.
I scowled as I drank the last drop of punch and threw the plastic cup out. "She's still not talking to me." I said, my voice croaky and deep.
"She's not talking to me, either." Monica drank more alcohol and began to dance, bouncing to the beat. "But don't worry about her, dance and enjoy yourself for once, Jaspy!"
She was very drunk.
She grabbed my hand with hers and tugged me towards the large, crowded dance floor. "I don't want to dance, Monica." I said sourly and pulled my hand away from hers.
"Uh, you're so boring." She whined. "No wonder It isn't talking to you."
I snap my head around, giving her a glare. Not just because of her insult, but of what she said. "Repeat what you just said to me."
"What?"
"Repeat. What. You. Just. Said. To. Me." I said so slowly I could of spelt out the letters and it would of been quicker.
"You're boring... blah blah blah... no wonder It isn't talking... idk." Monica's words were blurred and without realising, she dragged me out onto the dance floor where the atmosphere is more clammy and hot. A catchy song throbbed through the small space and I was surprisingly beginning to move. No, I was beginning to dance. Something that I haven't done in a while.
I was enjoying my time, apart from the part where the sweaty bodies of fellow teenagers bumped into me or rubbed against me, making me feel uncomfortable.
Monica is crazy whilst drunk. She tried doing a cartwheel but ended up knocking more than two people to the ground. But she sure made me laugh. So much that I forgot about my problems.
I was dancing until I decided that I was extremely thirsty and I wanted some punch. I had to scream over the music to tell Monica, which took about two minutes.
But I eventually crawled out of the disgusting crowd of people and walked over to the punch table, which was beside a couple making out. I ignored them as I poured some fruity punch into a clear, plastic cup.
"Sh*t." I turned my head to see a girl who spilt her punch, resulting in a large puddle on the ground.
"Oh, I'll help." I offered and we both squatted down to mop it up. She had some handy tissues in her clutch and we both covered the puddle in tissue. "I'm Jasper."
She looked up and I looked into her bright blue eyes, bright enough to see through the dark. Her long, blonde hair was spilling on both shoulders and her eye make-up was beautiful - amazing winged eyeliner and eyeshadow that matched her complex red dress. The rest of her face was natural, a natural glow. She smiled at me, showing me her white teeth. "I'm Livy."
We smiled at each other before she looked down at the mess again. "Sh*t, I'm such a clutz." She face-palmed.
"Nah, it happens all the time." I chuckle before realising that she doesn't smell like alcohol like everyone else here. "You don't drink?"
Livy shook her head. "I occasionally do, but let's just say that I feel 'brave and free'." She jokes and laughs. I laugh with her before we had a genuine conversation.
We talked about school and what we did in our free time. She b*tched a little bit about some people in our classes before I asked her to dance.
"Sure." She said before walking ahead of me, walking straight into the crowd. I almost lost her. I did hold out a hand for her to take, but she either missed it or didn't want to take my hand at all.
I finally found her around the centre of the crowd, dancing and jumping to the wild beat. I came up in front of her and danced with her.
She mostly laughed and we continued to chat but we deepened our conversations. She had some things going on at school but she didn't tell me, which I completely understand. She told me about her friends, who were absolutely crazy but she loved them and she also told me about her boyfriend.
I couldn't really hear what his name was but it was something like Ezra.
That was before she told me that she had to leave, leaving me alone. I couldn't even see Monica anymore. Or Mouse.
Sighing, I headed outside. I walked through the door, entering the cold night air. I now wish that I brought a jacket with me.
I shivered and stepped aside from the door. I leaned against a brick wall and pulled my phone from my pocket.
There was one missed text from Monica.
I went home with Oliver.
I nodded before shoving it back into my pocked. That means that I could probably go home now.
I began to walk on the path that leads to my car before a firm hand gripped my shoulder and held me back. I spun around to see the same jerk that stole Mouse from me.
I expected him to hit me or at least provoke me, but his expression seemed to be apologetic. He spoke up, breaking the silence. "She's really upset by you two, you know that?"
"Us two?" I ask, my tone strong and emotionless.
"You and that chick Monica."
Oh.
I stood in silence, wondering why he was telling me this exactly.
The guy must of noticed the confusion because he then said, "I think that you should apologise to her."
I opened my mouth to protest, but he was already walking away, leaving me alone with my overwhelming thoughts.
