Adana:Things Have To Change

The Past

Montrel.....

I was so happy that me and Adana was on the right page and was making an effort to making things right again.

I had some romantic things planned for us and I knew that Adana would enjoy them because she was so kind at heart. When we first started dating I used to send her flowers just because, and I used to surprise her with lil date nights and shit.

Every time I would do those things I could so much happiness in her eyes. I neva' met a girl that could make me do all those things I did, I used to keep it real with all those other girls and didn't care about none of they feelings.

But when I met Adana something in me changed and I was scared to love because I never knew it and when I felt love from her real genuine love
for the first time, I panicked and started cheating and hurting her feelings, just because I didn't know what to do with all the love she was giving me , I know it sounds stupid because if someone's giving you love you receive it and enjoy it but not my dumb ass I had to break her heart. I remember the first time I cheated on her.

Flashback....

Montrel....

"Whatever man I'm gone!" I yelled at Adana. We got into an argument over Tasha calling my phone. Truthfully I didn't know why she was calling my phone because I ain't talked to her since me Adana been together and that was a year ago.

"I don't even care anymore Montrel, I know she's not just calling for no reason"! Adana yelled while following me down the steps and to the front door. "You don't have to believe me, I changed my ways for you and I have been faithful but you don't believe me"! "How can I believe you when you have hoes calling your phone"? I looked at her and slammed the door I walked to my car and drove off. My phone was ringing and I picked up without looking "WHAT"! "Hey, baby you missed me"? I heard Tasha say with a seductive tone."man ,no stop calling my phone i'm not playing with you Tasha". I hung up and drove down the road .

I decided to chill at my favorite spot, the Jay Lounge. It was packed, I went to the back of the club where I usually go , I got a couple of "wassups" and I said it back.

I really was pissed at Adana, and my head wasn't on straight. A fine chick came and sat beside me and smiled.

"Hey,Montrel" she said in a seductive tone. I looked at her up and down analyzing her curves and the cleavage that she showed."Wassup,how you know my name?" I said being curious "everybody knows your name" she stated while scooting closer.

I knew that, that's why half of the chicks that I messed with before Adana messed with me. I looked at her and she kinda looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it, I shook it off and grabbed my cup of liquor and threw it back.

Long story short,things went a little too far in the lounges bathroom. I don't want to make excuses but I faced like three blunts that night.

When I walked out of the bathroom I felt like shit. Here I am cheating on my girl that I know is faithful with some hoe that just meet me an hour ago.

"So, can I get your number"? She said fixing her dress."Nah, I got girl , this shit wasn't right" I stated about to walk away."I don't care 'bout your little girlfriend" she said with an attitude. I just looked at her and shook my head hoes gonna be hoes.

I walked back inside of the house and saw that Adana was sleep. I took a shower and put on some boxers and climbed into bed.

Adana's eyes fluttered opened and she kind of jumped."it's me baby" I said sliding her closer to me."Baby I swear I don't know why she's been calling my phone but I promise I'm gonna block her number" I stated sincerely Tasha was crazy as hell and delirious. There was silence,"you Promise?" Adana finally said "Yeah, I promise baby". We dosed off to sleep just me and her but I still felt like shit just thinking about what I did just not to long ago.

2 days later....

Everything was going smooth and me and Adana were back where we once were.

We was watching a movie.

Then, Jade called Adana to go shopping and Adana of course accepted. She got up and got her purse and keys since she was already dressed. She knew I didn't mind if she went but asked anyway."You don't mind if I go, do you?" She asked "Nah,I might roll out too" I said as I got up to give her a kiss." Okay,love you" she said heading towards the door."Love you Too" I said admiring her beauty.

4 Hours Later....

Adana,Jade,Tiana, and Amesha all burst in and Adana was in tears.

She came towards me full force and started punching me. This wasn't like Adana but she did get like this if you got her mad enough so I already knew that she had found out.

But I played like I didn't.

I grabbed her hands,"Yo, what the fuck wrong with you mane"? I said, she jerked her hands away from me and told me that while her and her friends were at the mall a girl came up to them and told them that she had sex with me. Now, Adana knew who I was and she knew girls knew who she was and would try anything to break us up, so she was gonna brush it off and question me about it later. A few minutes later she got a text from a number she didn't know and there was a video of me and the girl in the bathroom. Somebody had recorded us and that person was none other than Tasha.

Turns out Tasha and her "Bestfriend" Janelle was in the lounge and decided to play games. I knew she looked familiar, and that's why.

"Trel, what the fuck is wrong with you, you got a good as girl and you wanna mess with these hoes"! Tiana yelled. " I can't believe you, what did I ever do to you that was that bad for you to cheat on me"? Adana said while tears were coming down her face. I couldn't say anything because she had done absolutely nothing and did not deserve to be cheated on.

"Was it that night we got into that argument"? She said " yeah" was all I could say. She didn't say anything she just nodded her head and wiped her tears.

Jade,Tiana, and Amesha looked like they wanted to kill me and if they could have got away with it they probably would have. She walked out of the house, with her friends right behind her, they slammed the door and I was leave there looking stupid.

Adana stayed with Tiana for about 3 weeks, and I missed everything about her, her sleeping beside me, her walk, her talk, and her smile,everything. It took a lot for me to get her back and when she did forgive me she still had trust issues. It made me insecure because I always had in my mind that she was gonna do the same thing to me but she never did.... I did.

That was The past and this is now and I'm gonna do right by Adana Nicole Thomas.
