Chapter 6

So, here it goes again...my second week of school. Mum had dropped me off from school. After arriving at the school, I went to my locker to get my books.

As I was taking my books, I saw Harry coming towards me.

"Hey Erika, what are you doing?" Harry asked, standing behind me.

''Why would you care. It isn't your business is it?" I replied with an angry voice.

"Aha..okeyyy Erika, don't be mean, you're going to get old if you keep getting angry" he joked. He'd placed his hand around my waist and hugged me.

"What are you doing Harry?! Get off me'' I said pushing him away.

"What's happening here?" Rachel interrupted

"Oh, hey babe" Harry said "Me and Erika just having a morning conversation"

"Great, then let's go" Rachel said grabbing Harry's hand.

At once I was confused. Harry and Rachel? What? How? Umm..okey I guess I don't have to worry about Harry or Rachel disturbing me again.

I waited for Jack at the school's field. He finally came about 5 minutes after that. We stood facing each other in shock. We were wearing almost the same outfit; black rip jeans, white top with blue vans.

"What a coincidence" Jack laughed

"Aha..yea" I replied

We walked into school's door with awkwardness. Camilla and Connor then came up to us and smiled.

"Awww that's so sweet, you guys are wearing the same outfit" Camilla said

I took a quick look at Jack and I could see that he was blushing. I replied "Oh..no it's not like that.."

Jack interrupted "We're not.."

"Dating..." I continued his sentence.

"Rightttt" Jack said

"Oh..ummm. Okey then I better get going to class, c'mon Connor" Camilla said

"Not dating eh?" Jack said, blushing

"Its true right?" I asked

Jack stood speechless and walked away to his class

"Well I guess I'll go to my art class" I said. After I reached my art class, I grabbed a seat next to Brook.

"Oh hey...Erika right?" Brook asked

"Aha yea" I said

"Hello students. It's me again Ms Sandra. Today I will give you all an assignment, you can either work by your own or in pairs" Ms Sandra said "You have to create a model of a house of your own imagination"

"Great...." Brook said

"What you don't like it?" I asked

"Well..kindda" he replied

"Wanna work in pairs, I'll help you?" I asked

"That would be awesome!" He said in excitement

"Ok, you guys have 3 week to do it since there's 2 weeks of holidays and 1 week of school .... What are you waiting for? Get on with it! May the best house win" Ms Sandra announced

"Ok any plan" I asked"

"Hmm, we'll plan this lesson and we can build it later?" He suggested

"Ok great" I said

After art I had PE so I went to the changing room. Jane and Camilla called me over. After changing we went to the school hall where every boys and girls gather around.

"Right then... Today we'll be playing dodge ball so we need two teams please. Rachel and Brook you guys can pick who will be in your groups." The teacher said

Brook said "I pick Erika"

"Great I'll pick Jack" Rachel said

"Jane" Brook called

"Harry" Rachel said

After everyone got into their teams we stood on an opposite side.

"Right then, you can start after I blew this whistle" the teacher said *blew whistle*

I quickly ran to grabbed the ball and get back to my side. As I was running, balls were thrown to us, it was like bombs were dropped everywhere. Obviously I threw the ball at Rachel but it didn't hit her.

Jane and Connor got hit so they sat by the side. I bend down to tie my shoe laces, luckily I didn't got hit, well not after I got up. When I got up I looked at my opponent side and directly saw a ball coming toward my face.

I could barely see who threw it but I got a slightly glimpse of Jack who threw it. Then I fell directly down on the ground, unconsciously.

Brook ran to me to check if I was still breathing, he shouted for help and the teacher came and so did everyone except Rachel.

I woke up realizing that I was at the hospital. Mum and dad was there waiting and so did my friends.

"Oh hun..are you ok?How do you feel?" Mum asked

"What happened? And I'm ok" I replied

"You got hit and fell down....you stopped breathing at once but now you're good" Brook said

"Doctor said that you have to stay here for about 2 days" Dad said

"Oh.. Its ok then, you guys can go home and sleep, its getting late" I suggested

Mum kissed me on the head and headed home with dad. Connor and Camilla brought me a coffee and wished me get well soon and left. I thought that everyone went home but then I saw someone outside the room.

"Jack?" I asked

"Hello? Jack is that you?" I asked

I got up and walked out of he room and saw Jack crying. "Jack what happened?"

He suddenly hold me close "I'm sorry" he said

"It wasn't your fault, its ok"I said

"I'm so sorry" Jack said. He took a flower out of his pocket and handed it to me.

"Thank you Jack" I said "You better get home before your parents get mad at you"

He hugged me and kissed me on the forehead. "Bye then, I'll back to see you tommorrow" Jack said

I went back to my bed and drink the coffee that Connor and Camilla brought me. I sat down starring at the flower that Jack gave me and suddenly fell asleep.

Mum and dad came early to see me at the hospital. They bought Emily with them, they also bought me pancakes.

"How you doing?" Mum asked

"I'm doing good" I said"

Emily came and sat next to me on the bed and handed me a drawing. Well she isn't a bad sister after all. They went home after visiting me for about 4 hours.

I went back to sleep again because doctor said I need a lot of sleep before I could go out again.

It was about 3 o'clock, Jane, Connor,Camilla, Jake and Brook came creeping into the room and decorated with some balloons and stuff. I didn't realize anything because I was busy sleeping.

When they finished decorating they woke me up and shouted get well soon Erika. I was really surprised. The room was completely full with balloons. We then chilled for a moment until my parents came in and brought us cake.

To be honest it was the best day I had so far this week. We all had fun, laughing and singing.
