Chapter 48

*Erika's POV*

I woke up nice and early to see jack before he left to California.

Peeking out of the window, I saw him and his family gathering outside their house. There were a lot of other people but none that I recognized.

I begged mom and dad to come with me and they were more than happy to. After getting our self washed up, we made our way next door.

Jack was standing near the back of his car with his other friends. I waved at him before saying hi.

He ran up to give me a hug and a smile was tugged in his face. "Erika this are my cousins"

Owh! Cousins...

"Hey..I'm Erika" I introduced myself and gave them a little wave.

"I'm Derick" a blond haired guy introduced himself "and this is Thomas" he said, pointing to the guy on his right who looks a little like Zack.

"That's Olli and Francisco" Jack then pointed to the guy with black leather jacket but with different color t-shirts and jeans.

We continued to introduce our self and joked around. They were a great time to spend with. They know how to joke around and be serious when it's time to.

"Jack we have to go now" I heard his mum shouted from the car. His parents were already inside the car and there were a few people surrounding it.

"I have to go now" Jack said turning to face me. He grabbed my hands and give me a reassuring smile "I'll see you at California" he pulled in for a hug.

"See you there" is all I could say.

"Jack" I tugged his hand before he ran off.

"Yea?"

I didn't say anything but all I did was pulled him in for the last kiss before he left.

"Bye" I waved him off after our little kiss. It wasn't comfortable kissing him because literally, eyes were on us.

"You're going to miss him aren't you" Jack's cousin, who I'm guessing is Ollie, asked.

I turned to my side to look at him and nodded.

"That was something" mom came out of nowhere.

"Mom stop it" I playfully hit her arm.

"Shall we go inside then?"

I nodded.

"You don't want your friends to come too?" Mom asked, looking over to Ollie, Francisco, Derick and Thomas.

I raised my eyebrows at them asking if they wanted to.

"Sorry, I got to head home" Ollie and Thomas said at the same time.

"Sure" Francisco replied.

"I don't mind" derick replied after getting hit at the back of his head from Francisco.

He was a little bit busy with his social life, I guess.

We head home along with Francisco and Derick. They were welcome pretty much everywhere inside the house.

We finally huddled up at the kitchen table and had our breakfast since we haven't eaten earlier.

"Toast, bacon and eggs. My favorite" Derick said, revealing his identity.

We spend more time together than I thought we would. We basically shared stories, play tags, truth or dare, watched movies and did some crafts.

I have to admit it was fun hanging out with Jack's cousins. They left at around 2pm after all the fun we had.

A fun day with the most lovely people. What could you ask more of?

(A few weeks later)

Me and Jack made some few phone calls after he left NY. He said he was fitting in just right and the people there were friendly.

I can't wait to see him when I move to California. Just a few weeks more to go.

Yes, I know this isn't probably the best ending to a story, because of this is my first book on wattpadd and I, myself know that I was rushing this so to refresh myself, I'm writing a new book called 'I'm the 19th Virgo'. If you are interested in horoscopes and zodiacs signs then this is probably the book you should try reading and I promise, I would put all my effort on writing it.
