Chapter 13

"Hello" he answered

I waited patiently for him to talk on the phone.

He talked and talked, and suddenly I saw tears running down from his eyes. He stood there, standing still and when he tried speaking, no words came out.

He puts his phone down and took a seat with his face on his hand, facing down.

"What's wrong?" I asked holding one of his hand

He tried to speak, but non came out. "What's wrong?" I repeated myself

He finally say the words that I've asked for "My...mum....she's ..." He stopped and took a deep breath "She's in a comma" he finishes his sentence

I starred at him and gave him a big hug. "She's going to be fine. Let's go and see her, shall we?"

We made our way to the bus station and waited there for about 5-6 minutes.

After we reached the hospital, we went to the reception and asked for Jack's mum's room number

When we reached the room, we waited outside with Jack's dad.

I got myself sat down on the chair next to Jack and waited for the doctor to keep us update.

Without realizing I was sleeping, I woke up in the room where Jack's mum was in. Jack was no where to be seen, only his dad and his mum.

I excused myself to the toilet and on my way there I saw jack at the cafe with a girl who looks like Rachel but I'm not quite sure.

I stood there scanning at the girl and at one point I could see that she saw me so I quickly rushed in the toilet and locked the door.

I tool out my phone to see if I got any text or mails. Unfortunately I did, it was from Mum.

"I hope you and Jack are having fun, but remember, don't to be naughty. I've heard about what happened to his mum, tell him I said stay strong. And hun, we had troubles with our flight coming home, sadly the flight is canceled due to heavy rain but don't worry, we'll be back ASAP :) love mum"

Suddenly a knock appears on my bathroom door. "Hello" the voice said

I unlocked the door and peeked out. "Yes?" I answered

"Erika! I knew it was you" Rachael exclaimed

"Ahaha Rachel what are you doing here" I sarcastically laughed

"Nothing.., just you know checking on Jack."

I raised my eyebrows. She isn't trying to steal him is she?. I said to myself

"Jack's mum.." She added

"Right.... Jack's mum. Uh-huh..." I nodded and walked pass her and went to the sink.
