Chapter 17

*Erika's POV*

My parents would be coming home next week from their trip. I would really love if they bought me a souvenir or something.

Anyways it was early in the morning and I got myself sat down on the kitchen table drinking latte, just then Jack came in. "Do you mind?"he asked pointing to the chair.

"Not at all."

"Thanks."

I looked at him in confusion as if he was a puzzle and I was trying to figure out what was wrong. "Everything alright?" I asked.

He blinked once or twice and looked up at me "Yea...yea" he said in a slow calm way.

I took my right palm and reached for his forehead to check if it was hot suddenly Josh came in and stands on the kitchen's door frame and knocked on it. "Did I miss anything?"he asked and I quickly took my palm away from Jack's forehead.

"Oh...Josh!" I said in shocked "you scared the hell out of me" I stood up "we were just having a talk" I looked at Josh and then at Jack and smiled.

"Oh.." Josh looks at Jack, then at me "mind if I have a word with you Erika" he looks at Jack "Alone"

I stood there for a moment and clear my throat "yea..yea..sure" I finally said "brb Jack" I hold his hand and left the kitchen.

Josh bought me outside and looked at me."Erika...I don't really know how to say this but.. Erika I had-" I hushed him with my finger on his lips, but he grab the whole of my wrist and continued talking "Erika please listen to me.." He looked straight into my eyes .

"Josh you know I-" he quickly pushed me against the wall and cover my mouth with his palm.

"Just listen.." He said, leaning closer every time I took a breath "We've been friends for as long as I could remember and we've dated before. We'd kissed, we'd slept with each other, I miss hanging out with you and I miss making you laugh and I really..really..would like to be with you again...I promise I wouldn't leave you again" he said taking his hand away from my mouth.

"Josh I-" he is now leaning very close to me and he's only and inch away.

He placed his warm palm on my neck indicating he wanted to kiss me.

I didn't have much to do because he was only an inch away and his deep blue eyes are making me fall for the trap. I didn't know what to do. I panicked.

Jack suddenly comes out from the house and saw us in this awkward situation. "Jack I-" I stopped as he shook he head, left to right, again and again

"Having a good talk?" he said in a low voice "after all I'm not worth it, am I? I'm just a reject after all" he looked at me and gazed at Josh "this isn't what I expected from someone I would truly trust Erika,someone I fell in love with. You know that don't you Erika?" He looked at me in disgust "I guess we're over Erika" he drops a black rose behind him and left.

"Jack I-"I stopped and cried a tear or two on that spot. "Joshua?!" I looked at Josh as if I was about to slap him across his face

"I really hate to say this but don't you know?" He raised his eyebrows

"Know what?"

"He's a player"

I don't know if I should believe him or not.. Well first he likes me so of course he would make Jack look bad but second Jack looks like he had been stress out for no reason.

"How do u know" I asked.

"What he's a playboy?" He took out his phone and handed me it. There was pictures of Josh and a girl "that there" he pointed to the girl "that's his ex but they're together again..her name is Ella"

I rest my shoulder against the wall and froze for a moment "hun..you know how boys like him are" josh said tucking in the hair that had fallen from behind my ear

"I know Jack, but I didn't expect this" I cried on the spot. I crouched down and tuck my head in.

"Hey..hey..its ok..I'm here" Josh patted on my back.

I didn't know if I should believe Josh or not because Jack wouldn't do that such a thing and I think that Josh just did that because he want me to break up with Jack and be his again.

I looked up into his glowing blue eyes and stood up. "I need to talk to him" I picked up the rose that Jack dropped and walked away and stopped as he grabbed my wrist. I look back and brush his hand of mine.

I walks to Jack's house and rang the doorbell and waited outside patiently.
"Erika.... Do come in" Jack's mum open the door wider indicating for me to come in "How can I help you sweetie?"

"Is Jack home?" I asked as if I haven't knew.

"Yea..he's upstairs in his bedroom. Is everything alright?"

"Yea its fine..can I see him?"

"Sure" she pointed the way upstairs.

"Thank you" I said and went upstairs.

I knocked on the door twice and waited patiently.

"Who is it?!" He shouted from inside his bedroom.

"Jack its me...Erika"

After a few seconds..the door knob turns and the door was wide open. He grabbed me inside and locked the door immediately.

"Jack I didn't mean to make you feel that way earl-" I stopped as he covers my mouth.

"I know you're not like that and I was just testing you if you still like me..that's why I said those stuff to you" he said, holding me in his arms.

I was glad that he wasn't mad but then I soon realize about Ella so I pushed him away from me and look at Jack with a death stare "Josh told me that you're dating Ella. He also showed me a picture of you two together...is it true?"

He swiped my feet and picked me up and placed me on his bed. "You see here Erika...there's a thing call cousin" he laughed playfully and sat down beside me.

"Owh?'' I bit my lips ''Ok then thanks for understanding me and I guess I'd be going home now" I said standing up.

"You're going home? Already?" He patted the seat indicating me to sit back "you're going home with that dirt bag?"

"What? Josh?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Well I don't wanna leave him hanging alone in the house...in my house exactly."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me onto his bed. I was in a sleeping position when Jacks tag along and got himself on top of me. "Don't worry babe....I'll make it easy for you" he smirk but I didn't actually know what he's talking about.

"Don't play dumb Erika..." He said playing with my hair "Josh a great guy but seeing him with you...you know I don't like that''

I was speechless because all I could think of now was...what in the world am I doing here? In his bedroom? Alone? And we're on the bed!

I looked into his blue eyes and I think I've taken the trap and I'm falling for it..I couldn't stop it and all I could do right now was to go with the flow.

"Jack what-" I stopped

"I don't want to wait longer"

I stare into his eyes and looked at his soft pink lips.

That's it...I'm falling for the trap. As he lean closer to me and I couldn't help it but to kiss him repeatedly.

He bit on my lower lip and wouldn't let go, so I pulled him closer and now he's fully lying on top of me.

He finally let go of my lip and rolled me on top of him. He grabbed my ass and massaged it and as I said...I've fallen for the trap.

I was half awake and half dead because of his attraction and I knew I was about to pass out because I've taken a pill in the morning, but before I did I saw a couple of pictures on his desk. It was a picture of him and Ella and suddenly when his phone rang I passed out and I couldn't see who was calling but I heard he said was...
