Chapter 16

The next morning...

I went downstairs to check on Jack and Josh, but it seems like Josh was no where to be found.

"Where's Josh?" I asked Jack.

He shrugged.

I peered out to look at the backyard window and saw Josh there.

As I entered the backyard, Josh welcomed me with a good morning and smiled.

"Heyya" I replied.

"Beautiful weather isn't it" he asked.

"Mh-hmm" I nodded.

It was a clear sky today and it was about 26℃.

"Hey! I know! Let's go to the beach. Surfing on this type of weather would be great fun!" He suggested.

Josh is really a sporty and an active type of person.

There was nothing to do at home so I guess why not go to the beach?

I packed a bag full of sunscreen, a book, a spare shirt along with a pants and a sunglasses (in case I see any bad bitches on my way there)

On my way downstairs, I bumped into Jack and he asked "Going somewhere so soon?"

"Yea, actually I'm just going to the beach with Josh. You should come too"

"I guess so"

Me, Josh and Jack made our way to he beach and surprise surprise... there is a bad bitch.

I took out my sunglasses and put them on - like how people normally wear them..ofc.

"Hey guysss" Rachel said holding the s sound.

"Yo!" Josh replied, while me and Jack smiled.

"So how's NY?" Rachel asked Josh.

"Pretty good I guess" Josh replied.

"Okeyy then..see you guys later" Rachel waved us goodbye.

We continued making our way to one of the table near the stalls.

Josh quickly placed his bag on the table and went to the sail & rush stall and borrowed a surf board.

I took out my book to read while Jack sat behind me with his phone out in front of his face.

Josh had already got into the water and start paddling. I could see him waving at me on one point and I just smiled back.

I lied down on the long arm chair with my sunglasses on. As I lied down I watched Rachel walked pass me and flied her hair and blocked the sunlight from getting into my way. "Enjoying the weather?" She asked.

"I guess?" I replied

She released a big breath and starred right into my eyes. "Hey..let's go and build a sandcastle"

I raised my eyebrows

"Or would you rather go surfing? With Josh?"

"What if I say neither?"

"Please.." She grabbed one of my hand.

"Ughhh" I rolled my eyes "fine..we'll go and surf with Josh" I said with an exhausted excitement.

"Yay" she shouted and pulled me up

We went to rent a couple of surfing equipments and went straight to change after that.

Josh came up to us when he saw us coming near the shore with a surf board. "You surf?" He asked, sarcastically.

"No..but were wondering if you could teach us how to" Rachel responded.

Josh raised one eyebrows at me looking unsure if I wanted to surf or not "okey then let get to it."

We followed Josh back to the table where I was sitting with Jack. "Ok, place your board on the sand and try to balance on it using one foot behind the other" and we did as we're told.

"Rule 1," Josh continues "always keep your body nice and straight"

He pressed his hand on Rachel's chest to make her body nice and straight.

"Rule 2, hand should be out and straight"

Josh came behind me to straightened my hand position.

"Rule 3..." He tried to explain until Jack interrupts

"Rule 3... Do not touch my girlfriend"

I bit my bottom lip and face down.

"Alright then.." Josh moves an inch behind "let's just skip rule 3 and move on with the surfing"

Josh bought us to the ocean and started practicing our paddling.

After all that lessons, we took a break and got ourselves a coconut milkshake.

"It looks like its gonna rain" Jack said looking at the clouds above his head

"I guess we have to move now" Josh said

We packed our bags and ran back to my house. We set our wet sandals outside the doorway for it to dry.

We all gathered around the TV and sat ourselves down. "Hey..I'm planning to throw myself a birthday party tomorrow..could you guys lend me some hand..please?" Said Rachel

"Sure..why not" Josh replied with a big grin on his face

Jack however looked at me with his eyebrow raised "I'm in" I hesitated

"Count me in" Jack said

''Great....thank you so so much guys" Rachel said smiling at us "so, my house tomorrow at 6..ok" she said while taking her bags and made her way out of the house.
