"So, you're telling me that there was some kind of lizard monster running around Beacon Hills? And I'm supposed to believe you?" I whispered to Isaac. We were still in class and the teacher had already told us to be quiet once so we were trying not to be too loud.
"Yes, you are supposed to believe me. I wanted to warn you because that thing was dangerous." He told me.
"And why do you care about my saftey?"
"Look, I'm sorry for that earlier. That wasn't me. It's just that with this new strike of confidence, I tend to get a little carried away."
"So, explain to me again why you have to do everything Derek says?"
"Because he's my alpha."
I jumped when the bell rang. I didn't even realize that we had spent the whole class talking.
As we walked over to my locker, Scott and Stiles walked up behind me.
"Hey, he isn't giving you a hard time is he?" Stiles asked me.
"No, Stiles. I think I can handle this on my own by the way. I don't need you and Scott to baby-sit me." I told him.
"Fine. But you know that if you need help just like whisper or something and Scott will hear you."
Scott pulled Stiles away reluctantly and Isaac pulled me in the opposite direction.
We started walking when Isaac pulled me into an empty science lab.
"Seriously? Now you are pulling me into classrooms?"
"I want you to know that I want you to take the bite." He replied, ignoring what I just said.
I didn't say anything.
"Ryder, you and me, we are very similar. We both have similar back rounds and taking the bite helped me. It made me stronger and more confident. I'm not scared all the time anymore.
"I don't know what it is about you, but I really like you. Can you at least give me a chance and go on one date with me? And afterwords if you still hate me, I will never bother you again." He stared intently waiting for my answer.
"I don't know.." He lifted my chin to look at him in the eye.
"Please?"
"Oh-okay. Just one date. But after that you can never ask me about becoming a werewolf. Ever."
"Great. I'll pick you up on Friday at 6."
