*not my gif*

I rolled out of bed and stood up. The gums above my upper teeth were aching and I felt them as I entered my bathroom. Walking over to my mirror, I examined my teeth, trying to find the source of the problem, but came up with nothing. I turned the knob on the sink and a steady stream of cold water come through the faucet. I splashed water onto my face and let the drops slid off of my face. I grabbed a towel and while wiping my face dry, I looked up to face the mirror and jumped back from what I saw. My eyes flashed a dark orange but when I blinked again the color disappeared and my eyes went back to normal. I looked closer but saw nothing unusual and tried to convince myself that I had just imagined something, but what I had been told by Peter- err my father yesterday came to mind and to tell you the truth, it shook me a little. I exited my bathroom and pulled a comfy outfit from my drawers while deciding to go to school today. Pulling on my Converse, I grabbed my sunglasses and set off to the kitchen. Not wanting to take the chance of my eyes glowing again, I slipped my glasses onto my face and walked into the room that was already occupied by Stiles.

"Hey Ryder... Whatcha doin'?" Stiles looked up from the counter where he was cutting into a bagel.

"Umm... I'm going to school. What does it look like?" I questioned.

"Well, it looks like you are going to school but I figured there is no possible way that that's what you are doing. You know, considering." He waved the knife that was in his hands along to his words dramatically and I looked at him suspiciously.

"Considering what?" He stopped what he was doing and stared at me intently.

"Well, considering that you are recovering from being in the hospital and you literally just found out that you actually are a part of the supernatural world." When I raised my eyebrows, he quickly continued. "Scott told me. Derek told him. So, yeah." He put his hands on his hips and waited for my reaction cautiously.

"Well." I took a moment to breathe before continuing. "I was going to pretend like everything is normal but it looks like I don't have to do that after all." I swiped my sunglasses off of my face and set them onto the table.

Grabbing another bagel that was near, he placed the bagel onto the cutting board and went to cut into it but stopped at the last second. I was about to move away from the kitchen silently but Stiles quickly turned towards me once more with the knife pointing in my general direction. "So, you were just not going to tell me? You find out that you are a hybrid and you decide to just hide this serious information from me?"

"Well, to tell you the truth, yeah. I kind of wanted a little bit of time to digest this on my own without everyone watching over me, examining my every move." At this point, I could feel myself getting angrier and angrier. My voice was raising with a ever word. "I thought that maybe, just maybe I could have a little peace of mind for once since I moved to this messed up town."

I took a second to get my breath. When I looked at my housemate again, he was looking at me with such worry that it startled me.

"Ryder- Ah!" I snapped my eyes down to Stiles' hand where a drop of blood was surfacing onto the palm. It seemed as though he had sliced his hand with the knife while he wasn't paying attention. He dropped the source of the wound onto the table quickly. "Ryder, can you hand me a towel....? Ryder?"

I don't exactly know what happened but I felt this hungry pain shoot through me and I suddenly couldn't tear my eyes away from the blood threatening to spill from his vein.  My brain was warning me to leave the room, to get away, but my stomach, my appetite, my craving  was screaming for to just have one taste,  just  one drop.
