Hi!!!

So I noticed that I have changed Eli's age in the past couple chapters. I think I first said he was 25, and then 23 and then 22 or something like that! Lol so his actual age is 25!

I repeat, ELI IS 25 YEARS OLD AND SERENA IS 18.

Yes that makes them 7 years apart. Yes that is quite an age gap. Yes I love older guys. Yes I will get back to the story now!

"Pery please calm down!" I groaned putting two fingers up to my temple.

"But my birthday is next week!! I'll finally be 18 and then finally find my mate! I cannot wait to see what he looks like." She practically screamed.

I stared at her trying to fight a smile because of her extreme excitement.

"What? Isn't that the main reason why you couldn't wait to turn 18? So you could find your mate?" She asked tilting her head a little.

"No!" I let out a laugh. "Honestly I was just excited about becoming a legal adult. I never really thought about having a mate just because I was stuck in the human world for so long I might as well been one of them." I admitted.

"Oh yeah." She frowned. "I keep on forgetting that you were rogue living a human life for a while."

"It's no biggie." I shrugged. "I kinda just wished I found you guys sooner. I absolutely hated going to school with all those low live bitches. I only really had two friends there." I frowned thinking about Jess. It's been maybe just about two months since my 18th birthday. I wonder if she went home with the bouncer; her boyfriend for the night.

And then Jessica's brother Josh. He was one of the few people that I liked at my LA school. He was also my first crush and kiss.

That one stupid night of truth or dare with Josh and his older friends. I knew that he knew that I liked him. But I also knew he never liked me back. At Least in that way.

Anyways somehow Joshes friends knew I had a crush on him. Although I knew it wasn't Josh who told them because he was always the sweetest boy to me who politely pulled me to the side when he found out I liked him and told me that he cared for me as a little sister. He thought of me like he thought of Jess.

Even thought I was embarrassed and a little bit hurt. I respected that.

So I knew that night that Josh did not tell his friends about my little crush because he wouldn't want to embarrass me like that.

After Josh and I's quick make out session, Jess got mad and pulled me into her room telling me that I could never kiss her brother again. She told me that i could still like him, I just couldn't act on those feelings be used Josh is her brother and she didn't want me to be involved with him. We spent the rest of the night in her room not talking. The next morning after we woke up. It was like no fight had ever occurred and we went back to being best friends.

My eyes watered at the thought of never seeing my best friend again. At least I got my family here.

"Hello? Earth to Serena!" Pery said snapping in my face.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You always are daydreaming!" She laughed.

"I am not! Why does everyone keep saying that??" I whined.

"Because it's true!" She laughed throwing her hands up.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes with a faint smile on my face.
