"Peanut butter and jelly?" Elli asked me as I sat down on the leather stool in his huge granite kitchen.
"Sure, but no jelly." I replied.
"No jelly? Are you allergic?" He asked as he pulled out the ingredients.
"Nope, just never liked it." I answered as I played with my fingers.
"What are you allergic too?"
"Bananas and daisies." I replied as he put the peanut butter wheat sandwich in front of me and I scrunched my nose up in disgust.
"Wheat? Really? Why not white?" I asked sticking my tongue out at him.
"It's healthier for you." He replied sternly.
"Oh God! You're a health freak aren't you!?" I teased.
Before he could reply, a women's voice echoed through the house.
"Elli , my boy where are you?" She yelled.
"Kitchen mother!" He replied rolling his eyes.
"When she walked through the kitchen, I saw his sister Apery sulking behind her.
"How are you doing baby?" Elli's mom asked as she squeezed his cheeks between her hands and brought his head down towards her to kiss his forehead.
Elli's eyes immediately found mine when she made the intimate gesture. He softly put his large hands over her wrists and took them away from his face.
"Fine mother, please stop." He whispered annoyed and slightly embarrassed.
His mom rolled her eyes before she turned back towards me and her eyes widened.
"You!" She yelled before she paced her way towards me.
At first I thought that she was going to attack me.
And she did.
Just not in the way I thought she would. She pulled me into a tight embrace before she let go.
She grabbed my shoulders and looked me from head to toe.
Then she finally stared into my eyes as if searching for something. As if she found it, her eyes widened.
"Oh boy! I hope your babies have your eyes instead of Elli's!" She boasted. "I mean don't get me wrong, I love my sons eyes but they are are kind of dull and boring. But your eyes on all of your children will be darling!"
All I really heard and cared about in that whole speech was that she called Elli's eyes dull and boring. I mean sure they aren't the softest color but I love them. I had the sudden need to defend him.
"Thanks but I love Elli's eye color. It makes him, him. And I would love it if our kids have both of our eye color." I stated matter of factly.
I saw Elli's eyes widen and go soft for two seconds before he looked away.
I just then realized that I had confirmed about Elli and I having kids and felt heat crawl up my neck to my face which was not good because I don't blush. I turn into a fücking tomato.I looked back at Elli's mom to see her have the biggest smile on her face.
"Um, sorry Luna-" just then I was cut off.
"Luna?" She asked looking confused. "Oh sweetie, I stopped being Luna when Elli became Alpha! You're the Luna now." she smiled.
"Oh" was all I mustered to say. I was not ready to be Luna. I could not lead!
