Wow, that really put me on the spot! She was still staring out the window, even apparently leaning forward a little as if more interested in the courtyard than in what I might have to say.
I felt a little rush of something. I think part of it was anger – I mean, could she not do me the courtesy of actually looking at me?! Mixed in with the anger was a little rush of desire. How on earth was I supposed to concentrate with that oh-so-shapely butt right in front of me, and my gorgeous professor leaning over – she was actually leaning even further now – as if strangely fascinated by the college ivy?!
Was Professor East even flirting with me a little?
I quickly put the idea out of my mind.
Or at least I tried to.
"What was the question again?" I said weakly.
"The question," and this time Prof East did spin round to look at me. "The question, if you can give me your full attention for just a few seconds, is what is the role of persuasion in the play I am attempting to discuss with you!"
My prof's cobalt-blue eyes seemed to be glinting in the glow of her desk-lamp, and she suddenly looked and sounded a little scary.
I figured I pretty much was giving her my full attention, if you get me. But anyway, whatever... Somehow, despite the glare in her eyes, I dared to glance down at Professor East's tight mauve blouse. The swell of her breasts suddenly looked weirdly huge to me. It was like I'd pulled an 'all-nighter' and was having some kind of strange, sexy trip. I imagined my head resting their while she stroked my hair...
"Are you actually interested in this topic?!" My gorgeous prof sounded really irritated now.
