Highschool (Rove AU)

15- Monday

Dove's POV
I wake up and get ready for school. School again. I hate school. Blake and Heather won't be there, but Brendan will. I start to cry sitting on my bed. I wish I didn't have to deal with this. Ryan says he'll never leave me alone, but what if he does. What if he lies like Blake did. I cry harder. There's a knock on the door. I look out the window and see Ryan. He's smiling, but when he sees me his smile fads. I wipe away my tears and open the door. He pushes his hair back off his face and comes in. "Are you ok?" He asks taking my hands. I nod slowly. "Dove I know you were crying. What's wrong?" Ryan asks. "I'm just worried." I say holding back more tears. He nods and hugs me. "You ready?" He asks after awhile. I nod and we pull away. He takes my hand and we drive to school.
At lunch I sit down by Ryan across from Will and Abby and beside of Abby. Will sits beside Abby and we talk. "Hey." Brendan says walking over and sitting beside Ryan. "No! You're not aloud to sit here! Go!" Ryan says pointing. "I can sit wherever I want." Brendan says. "Get up! Get up!" Ryan yells. Brendan stands up. "You know. I'm not afraid of you." He says smirking. "You know. I thought you were cool." Ryan's says mocking Brendan. Brendan throws a punch, but Ryan blocks it. Ryan clenches his fist. He pushes Brendan back and then Brendan throws another punch. It hits Ryan's jaw, but he smiles. He punches Brendan and Brendan falls to the ground. "Boys! Break it up!" A teacher yells running over. "Office. Now." He says and pulls Ryan and Brendan to the office. Ryan turns around and smiles at us.

Ryan's POV
The teacher takes us to the office and we sit in two chairs across from a desk. "What happened? Ryan McCartan I didn't expect you here." Principle McKinley says. "Brendan rapped my girlfriend and now is trying to sit by me?!" I ask standing up. The principal looks surprised. "Is that true?" He asks. "I mean...n-no." Brendan stutters. "Oh please. You hurt her. I wouldn't get this mad except I love her so much and you can't do that!" I say. Brendan looks down and then back up at me. He jumps up and punches my jaw. I fall back and stare at him. "Ryan you better go to the nurse. You're free to go. Brendan come with me!" He says grabbing Brendan's arm. The world starts to spin a bit. I get to the nurse and tell her what happened. She gives me ice for my jaw and I have a hard time seeing straight. I tell her and stay at the clinic. Pretty soon Dove walks in and runs over to me. "Ry." She whispers hugging me. "Chloe." I whisper. She hugs me tight and sits on my lap. We pull away and I tell her what happened. She rubs my chin and jaw lightly. "Are you ok?" She asks me softly. "Yes and the good news is Brendan got expelled." I say. She slightly smiles and puts her head on my chest. "Alright you two lovebirds why don't you go back to class." The nurse says. We nod and finish our school day.

Dove's POV
After school Ryan and I go to set. "Alright. Good job guys. 10 minute break." The director calls. "Ry. Come with me." I say taking his hand and pulling him into my dressing room. I fall onto the couch and Ryan sits on my beanbag. "I'm so tired." He says. I nod and ask "How's your jaw?" He shrugs and I roll over and smile at him. He looks up and smiles at me. I guess we were looking at each other for awhile because the intercom called us back to set. After set I ask Ryan if he would stay for a little while and he smiles and said he would. I sit on the couch and Ryan sits beside me rubbing my hand with his thumb. "Um Dove..." Ryan starts, but there's a bang and the front door falls down. I scream and see a tall man whose hair is over his face.
