POV Alyssa

We sat in the car, on our way to Babies R Us to get new stuff for the baby's room. I can't believe that I'm having a girl! August has been ignoring me ever since we got out of the hospital. It was obvious that he was annoyed at the fact that he had to change the room and that he lost the bet but I also knew that he was still exited about the baby, regardless of the gender.

POV August

We drove in silence only because I wanted to make her think I was annoyed about the baby not being a boy but that's where she's got me wrong, imma love this baby no matter what the gender is.
The thing that I am kinda annoyed bout is the fact that I lost the bet cus now I gotta buy Alyssa's pig ass some food and that girl can eat! Being pregnant only makes things worse, she's always eating as if she's never going to eat again Smh.

As we pulled up to the store I turned the engine off, getting out of the car and going over to Alyssa's side to help her get out.
I know I gotta make her think I'm annoyed at her, but I still have to keep my responsibilities of a gentleman.

------------------

We walked around the store, occasionally picking up some of the necessary things. So far we have a new crib, changing table and some other stuff. My boy is coming by tomorrow to repaint the walls for the room so as of now, we're set.

"Aww Aug, look at this." She cooed, pointing at a pink and purple bottle set.
I just shrugged, looking down at my phone. I think I pissed her off because she immediately started to snap at me.

"August, I don't know what is going on with you but don't take it out on me. If this is about the bet, don't bother, I can buy my own damn food."
She started to walk away but I pulled her back, turning her around to face me.

"I'm sorry ma, I aint try to make you upset." I apologized, wiping her tears that were slowly running down her cheeks.

"Hey, you know what? How about I take you to dinner tonight ite? Let's just finish getting the stuff for the baby, get whatever you want, imma pay for it all."

Once she dried her tears, she looked up at me, smiling.

"I'm sorry for being such a baby and crying over stupid things."

"Don't worry ma, let's just finish shopping."

She smiled, going around the store and picking up various things. It makes me so happy seeing her this exited about the baby, but I know I gotta tell her about my 'job' cus I ain't wanna put her and the baby in danger.

Lord, help me. Ion wanna loose her this quickly. I'm starting to fall for her.

POV Alyssa

"You go inside n get all prettied up whilst I bring the stuff in."

"Thanks baby." I said, kissing his cheek and getting out of the car.

I feel kinda stupid for crying in the store so I'm gonna make it up to him when we get back.
Once I got upstairs I took my shower and did my hygiene.

I lotioned up and put on my purple lingerie set, going into my closet to pick a dress out.
Hopefully I'll find something that'll fit over my big stomach.

30 minutes later...

I knew it wasn't going to work.
So far, all five dresses I've tried on won't go pass my stomach.

"August!!"

"What's up ma?" He said, appearing at the door.
I felt his eyes roaming over my body as I stood in my lingerie.

"Babe, none of my dresses are fitting." I pouted, making him smirk.

"How bout we just stay home, and you know, lie in bed...maybe do some other things." He started, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"No, come help me put this dress over my stomach." I said, pulling him into my closet.

--------------

Finally, after almost an hour I got my dress on. Whilst August was in the shower I started on my makeup.
I put on foundation, mascara, eyeliner and red lipstick, coating it with clear lipgloss. I quickly fixed my eyebrows before plugging my hairdryer and straightner in, starting on my hair.

Just as I finished straightening my hair, August came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, water dripping down chest.

I bit my lip, my eyes roaming his body as I tried to fight the tempting thoughts that were running through my head.

"You look beautiful." Lawd, help me before I kidnap this man.

"Uh, thanks babe. C-can you put some clothes on please?"

He chuckled, "Why, you can't handle all this goodness?" He said, goofily raising his eyebrows and rubbing his hands all over himself.

"Just get dressed. And when you finish, come help me put my heels on." I said, pointing at my black red bottoms.
I went into my jewelry closet, picking out my diamond encrusted necklace, putting on the matching earrings and bracelet. I took out my black helix earring, replacing it with a diamond stud.

Just as I was coming out of the closet, August came out of the bathroom, this time fully dressed.

"You look good."

"Thanks ma, but I ain't got nothing on you. You look amazing." He said, making me blush.

"Thanks. Can you help me put these shoes on? I can't reach over my stomach."

"Dang, you already that big?" I glared at him, signaling for him to put my shoes on unless he wanted trouble.
Once I got my heels on, we gathered our stuff, getting ready to go.
---------------------

I made a mental note to ask August about how he got the money for the restaurant as we pulled into the parking lot for Fancy's
If you came to Fancy's, you're either a celebrity, billionaire or a hobo that snuck in. I hope he's not in the last category.

I stared in awe as we entered the restaurant. The red color and dim lighting made it very cosy and intimate, perfect for dinner.

"Welcome to Fancy's, do you have a reservation?" I felt the eyes of the host scanning my body as he made us welcome.

August went up closer to the host, whispering something, making their conversation unknown.
A minute later, their conversation ends and the host is leading us to our table, we're led to a private booth and before I could say anything, we were sitting down with a large steak, potatoes and greens; making me totally forget about my question.

What do you think is gonna happen once Alyssa finds out about August's job?
