Where Did I go Wrong?

Chapter 14

POV  August

I smiled in satisfaction as I finished unpacking the last bag. I'm so happy that I don't have to bottle up my feelings and fantasies anymore and now I can actually live them out with Alyssa. I honestly didn't expect for all of this to happen so quickly but with Alyssa being pregnant and all, I'm happy that it did.

I put the suitcases in the spare closet before walking back to the en suit bathroom in Alyssa and I's bedroom. Man, it feel so good to be able to say that.  I stripped all my clothes off and headed into the shower, in desperate need of the relaxing water.

POV Alyssa

I heard the shower running in the bathroom so I decided on surprising August in the shower. I took all of my clothes off and quietly tip toed into the bathroom, opening up the shower door and getting in behind him.  I wrapped my arms around his waist and instantly felt his body tense up.

"It's just me baby." I whispered, making him relax in my arms. He turned around to face me and smiled.

"Hey beautiful." He smiled, making me blush. I didn't say anything back because after that, we got into a very intimate staring phase. I looked into his deep chocolate eyes, they were so beautiful, full of love and good meaning, I couldn't help but be transferred to a trance.

Before I knew it, his lips were on mine and I didn't hesitate to kiss him back. We both started grabbing each other's bodies, feeling as though we could not get enough of the touch of each other. The warm water dripping onto our bodies only made this moment more intimate than ever. The kiss quickly escalated and before I could think twice, I was pinned onto the shower wall, with August in-between my legs.

----Later  On----

I took in August's manly smell as we cuddled up in bed, enjoying the embrace of his arms around me. We were in that shower for hours and now my whole body is aching from the pleasure that August gave.

"What was you gone tell me ma?"  He started, breaking the silence.

"Oh...that."  I knew that I had to get myself prepared for the worst case scenario, but what if he left me? We've just started our relationship and I would hate for it to disappear so quickly.
I looked down at my hands, trying to gather my words.

"Um,  August..." I started, unable to find the right way to tell him.

"What is it ma? Jus tell meh." He said, rubbing my arm for comfort.

"August, I haven't really been completely honest with you... I um, I might not be carrying your baby." I said, putting my head down in plain shame.

"We already talked about that ma. I'm pretty sure it's my child." He lifted my head up with his finger, smiling at me.

I pushed his finger back, "No, you don't understand... I- I... I had sex with Trey the day before me and you got together."  I immediately started crying once I felt his body tense up at the news.
"It's fine if you want to move out and leave me, I'll understand."

Silence.
He was just sitting up on the bed, staring straight at me. I couldn't sense what his emotion was, but knowing what I just told him, it's probably disgust and hate.
It stayed silent for a while, but after a few minutes, he started speaking.

"Okay."

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

" I said okay. It's aight ma, Trey was your nigga at the time so it's aight. I love you so no matter what Imma stay by you and take care of the child, regardless of who the father is."

"Really?" I honestly couldn't believe that there was such a wonderful man on earth like August. He was just so unbelievably patient and loving.

"Yeah, really. I luh you ma, it's ride or die for me."

"Ride or die." I repeated, snuggling into his warm embrace as I slowly fell asleep.
