POV Trey - 3 weeks later

I sat in the room, staring at all the pictures of Alyssa that were plastered around the room.
How can you love someone so much, but at the same time wish they were lying in a coffin, dead? If there is any explanation for that question then that's exactly how I feel about Alyssa.

I pressed the button on the desk, signaling for the next girl to come in.

POV Alyssa

I put my music up loud as I started cooking. My parents were coming over today to meet August and I was super nervous about what they might say, especially my dad.

"Smells good in here." August started, as he entered the kitchen.

"Thanks baby. Do you mind passing me that bowl?" I asked, pointing towards the bowl on the counter.

"Sure. What time is the appointment?"
He asked, handing me the bowl of chicken pieces.

"Shoot! The appointment, I totally forgot. Uum, can you call my parents to change the time they should be here?"

"Ite, what time should they come at?"
I wiped my forehead, leaning against the kitchen island as I watched over the pasta.

"Actually, just tell them I cancelled. I'm really tired and I'm sure I'll be exhausted by the time we get back from the appointment which, by the way, is in an hour."

"You sure ma? I mean, you've been cooking an all." He said, coming up to me and wrapping his arms around me.

"It's fine." I sighed, turning the stove off.

"If you say so, imma be on it." He said, kissing my cheek before leaving to call my parents.
I sighed again, this time in frustration. I'm only at the beginning of my pregnancy, but I feel exhausted already. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying my pregnancy and all but it can be tiring.

"I can't wait tills you get here." I whispered, looking down at my growing stomach.

I pushed myself off of the island, going over to the stove.
I poured the the chicken pieces into the sauce, mixing it before pouring the mixture into the pot of pasta and setting it in the oven. I cleaned the counter up and set the timer for the pasta before going upstairs to August.

I pushed the bedroom door open only to see that he wasn't there. I started walking around the house, making sure to look in every room, but he was no where to be found. I was about to go back downstairs when I realised that I missed out on one of the rooms.

As I got closer to the room, I started to hear shuffling, as if someone was moving things. "He must be in here" I silently whispered to myself.
My hand reached for the door knob, slowly turning it and opening the door.

My jaw literally dropped at the sight that was before me; What used to be plain white walls, was now a light blue shade and the carpetless floor was now covered with a fluffy white carpet. In one corner of the room was a dark blue baby dresser and next to it was a rocking chair. In the center of the room was August, setting up a blue and white baby crib.

I just stood there, mouth open and everything. Tears of joy threatened to spill out as I took in the sight.

POV August

I had just finished the phone call to Alyssa's parents. It seemed like Alyssa was still downstairs so I decided on sneaking into the secret baby room.
I had been planning this secret ever since I found out about the pregnancy and after all this time, I finally feel like I've accomplished something; the walls were painted, the carpet has finally been fitted, the chest drawer and rocking chair has arrived and now all I had to do is set up the crib and all the decorating would be up to Lyssa.
