Where Did I go Wrong?

Chapter 24

POV Alyssa

I woke up to the faint aroma of food lingering in my nose, making my stomach grumble.
I got out of bed, yawning and stretching before making my way to the bathroom to take care of my hygiene.

After showering and brushing my teeth, I came out feeling fresh and awake.
I tightened the towel around my body as I walked into my closet, searching for an outfit that would fit over my stomach.
After standing around for a while, I finally decided on wearing light blue ripped jeans and a loose white top, covered with a black blazer.
I put the clothes on the bed before walking into my jewelry closet, picking out black earrings and a diamond encrusted necklace. I put in a diamond helix before walking back into the room to get dressed.

I sat on the bed, lathering my body with cocoa butter, obvlious to the fact that August walked in. The bed dipped as he sat down, making his presence known.

"Morning." I greeted, smiling.

"Morning beautiful. What's up today?"

"I'm actually quite busy today. I've got a meeting at eleven, lunch with Jacob and Dana at one, then baby's appointment at two thirty, I've got an appointment with Maria to get my nails and eyebrows done at four, then I have dinner with Mr. Andrews at seven." I found myself getting tired just by talking about my busy schedule.

"Damn, that's a whole lot. You know you ain't gotta be stressin, so don't get yourself worked up."

"I won't get too worked up, I promise. How's you're schedule like today?" I questioned, getting up to get underwear.

"Nun much, quick stop at the trap and then the baby's appointment later on."

"You could always come with me to dinner as my plus one." I suggested, pulling my jeans up my legs.

"I might take you up on that. When you finish dressin, I got breakfast for you downstairs." He kissed my cheek, getting up to take a shower.

I quickly got dressed, walking over to my vanity mirror to start on my makeup. I decided to go light, only applying mascara, gold eyeshadow and clear lipgloss.
I sighed at the sight of my eyebrows, disgusted at the way they looked when untamed.
I grabbed the eyebrow pencil starting to fill my eyebrows, occasionally using the brush to shape them. With a dab of concealer, five minutes later I was done, satisfied with my work.

I picked up my earrings, setting them in whilst I waited for August to come out and help me with my necklace.
As if on cue, he came out of the bathroom with a towel riding low on his waist and water droplets running down his toned chest. I caught myself staring, clearing my throat as I tried to get rid of the ungodly thoughts that were running around in my head.

"Can you help me with this?" I asked, holding the necklace out to him as I moved my hair away from my neck.
After he clasped the necklace around my neck, he bent forward, kissing my neck making spine tingling shivers run down my back.

"You look beautiful."

"Thanks baby." I turned my head to face him, placing a quick kiss on his lips.
I smirked to myself as I watched his eyes grow dark, his tongue slowly gliding over his lips as he looked down at me with lust.

I shook my head, smiling.
"Baby don't start. If you go any further I'm gonna be late for my meeting. Plus, I don't think we should have sex tills the baby comes."

I was surprised at his reaction as he burst out laughing, holding his stomach whilst trying to compose himself.
"No sex tills the baby comes? Baby I love you an all but you musta got me fucked up if you think I can wait that long. I can barely keep my hands off of you for a week, let alone five months!"
