I abruptly stopped talking and froze. Melanie seemed confused but she averted her gaze to where I was looking and gave me a devious look.

"Do it."

"Do what?"

"Ask him to hang."

"No."

"Fine, I'll do it for you."

Melanie stood up and I nearly had a heart attack.

"MELANIE."

I whisper yelled. She just smirked and began to walk over to where Josh and his friend were standing. I wanted to scream at her or grab her or something but I didn't want to look like a jerk, so I got up, took her hand and practically dragged her away to the bathrooms.

"Hey!"

I took her to the bathrooms and stood outside of them. I took a slow breath.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!??!"

"Yes."

"I'm going to kill you I swear."

"Well someone has to tell him!"

"I WILL."

"No you won't, Tyler."

"Just give me some time, I'll do it."

She gave me an 'are-you-fucking-serious' look.

"Ok maybe I need some help, but not your help, you're gonna scare him."

She giggled.

"Too bad, I have a plan. First, you need to fix... this."

She motioned to pretty much all of me and I frowned.

"Here."

She leaned forward and stood on her tip toes to get up to my hair, she played and messed with it for a while, then leaned back to look at me. She had a concentrated look, practically scanning me. She walked behind me and pushed my back up from it's slouched position. She tugged at my sweat shirt, then licked her thumb and rubbed it on my eyebrows.

"Ew."

She fixed a few other small things and then stepped back to look at me again.

"Perfect, step two. Confidence."

"Nope."

"You'll get there, just pretend I'm Josh. 'Hey bad boy~'"

Melanie said with a smirk, I gave a digested face and retorted.

"Ew Melanie no stop, he doesn't even sound like that."

"'What are you talking about Ty?'"

"No body calls me Ty, you don't even call me Ty."

"Just play along will ya?"

"This isn't going to help. Can we do this later?"

"Fine, your no fun."

She chuckled and we both walked to the gym because I insisted we stay away from the library. We talked and ran around the gym until clinic was over.

I walked home, luckily avoiding Josh and went inside my house and up to my room. It was a boring night as always, I finished my homework, ate dinner, and went to sleep. Barely socializing with my family, not because I hated them, just because I didn't have the energy to be nice to anyone. I was really tired since Melanie chased me around the gym with a stick, yelling, "IT'S TIME TO GO DOWN BITCH!"
