"Shut up!" I yelled at Zach. "Babe, I'm sorry, but I have to!" He argued. Zach was leaving town the next day, eight weeks after the accident, and apparently when he was fully recovered. I was extremely upset because he would be gone for almost two months. I was fine with not going with him to my senior prom but I wasn't okay with him missing my graduation.

"It's whatever! Sam can keep me company!" I snapped. "Don't be like that, babe!" He said. "I already said its whatever, go ahead and pack your bags and go, I don't care." I added. "Rosie, I'll be back in two months. It'll feel like no time at all." He assured. "You heard me when I said I don't care, right?" I asked rhetorically. "Rosie!" He yelled.

"It wasn't ever gonna work between us. You on tour and me going to college... We should just break up now." I said. "No, we shouldn't! Babe, please!" He begged. "I need to be alone right now." I responded. "I don't want you to be mad at me." He said. "This isn't gonna work, we're done." I stated. He ran his hand through his hair as his eyes watered. I walked out of the hotel room.

When I got home, he blew up my phone with texts and calls. I didn't want to talk to anyone, especially him, so I didn't. My bed sounded like the best place in the world, so I buried myself in it, and cried myself to sleep.

Zach left for tour the next day, continuing to text me everyday after that.

On my graduation day, I was walking to my car with my family when I saw Zach, leaning against it with a bouquet of roses in his hand. I was confused, surprised, and kinda happy to see him back that early.

I immediately started crying. He hugged me and said, "Oh, Rosie! I've missed you so much!" I just kept crying. "What's wrong?" He questioned. "I've missed you so much too! I just want things to go back to how they were, us together." I replied. "Babe, I want that too! I couldn't stand it when you broke up with me. I love you so much." He responded. "Is leaning against my car with flowers your thing or something?" I joked. He laughed and asked, "Do you want it to be?" "I mean... I don't mind!" I replied. We both laughed as he kissed me on my forehead.
