Chapter 7

Y/N's P.O.V:

"Ahhhhhhhh. It's summer vacation! Finally, I'm away from the club, away from school, and no more work! It's so relaxing!" 

Ding 

Oh, Haruhi's calling me. Wonder what for

Hello? pause  No way. I'm not gonna come save you from whatever this contest is. pause  Fine, but only because if I  was in your position, I would need help to. Pause ok see you then. Bye.

I went over to Karuizawa, and walked to the place Haruhi is working at. 

"Hey Haruhi, you called." I asked, but I knew what was coming. 

"Huh? Y/N, you're here too?" Tamaki asked with a sparkle in his eyes.

"Yeah, Haruhi called. Something about a contest and wanting me to save her." I said bluntly. Tamaki went to his emo corner. I then realized who the contest was with.

"HARUHI WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THE COMPETITION WAS WITH THE HOST CLUB!!!!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A BREAK FROM THESE IDIOTS!!!!!!!!" I yelled. Tamaki started growing mushrooms.

"If I told you, you wouldn't be here!" She argues. 

"Urrg, fine, what do I have to do?" I asked.  

"The host club is having a 'refreshing battle', where they do work around the place for Misuzu. The person who is the most 'refreshing' wins. I don't really want to spend my summer with them either, so here is where you come in. I want you to win, because you are the only sane one in this whole club." She said in an absolutely serious tone. 

"Ok, fine." I said.

"Ooh! Looks like we have another competitor! I must warn you though, since you're a girl, and people come to Karuizawa for the refreshing boys, it's gonna be harder to win." A man dressed as a woman, who I assume to be Misuzu, says.

"Fine by me." I said. 

"Ok then! You can start by giving the customers their food inside." Misuzu says.

"K, I'm on it!" I said. I've decided that if I'm gonna win, I have to go with the nice girl approach. What's more refreshing than that, right? 

I walk into the kitchen, and take out orders to the customers. I greet each one of them with a smile. 

"Oooh! Great work! 10 refresher points!" Misuzu says.

"Hey Y/N, I didn't know you were here." The twins said in unison.

"Oooh! Perfect unison! 10 refresher points!" The twins smirked. I can't believe it was that easy for them to get points! Is there really that much diffidence in gender?

3rd person P.O.V:

"So Haruhi, want to bet on who will win?" Kyoya asked Haruhi.

"Well, obviously Y/N will win." Haruhi said, confident with you. 

"Really you think so? I think Y/N is out, because she's a girl, and honey is out, because he has more of a cute image. Tamaki is closer, but not quite the image Misuzu is looking for. Mori is out if honey doesn't win, so that leaves the twins to win again. Although, if we can get Tamaki to play his cards right like he did last time, before the twins can do their act, he could win." Kyoya sates.

"Hold on a second, are you saying that Tamaki-senpai has a better chance at winning than Y/N?" Haruhi yelled.

"Yes exactly." Kyoya said with a grin.

"Fine you're on! If Y/N wins, you have to let me take a week of from the club. If anyone else wins, I'll give some of my items to the club so they can sell them, ok?" Haruhi says.

"Fine by me."

Y/N's P.O.V: 

I watched as everyone had about 80 points each, and I only had 30. If I have to win I have to play to my best ability.

When Tamaki got on the piano, he started playing He's A Tramp. It just so happens, I know all the words to that song. I started to sing.

He's a tramp, but they love him.

And I only hope he'll stay that way...

Everyone started staring at me in astonishment. Hook

"Dear, can we go in there for some tea? I would love to hear more of that amazing voice." Someone said. Line and Sinker

You can never tell when he'll show up.
He gives you plenty of trouble.
I guess he's just a no-count pup

Oh! I'm sorry, I must have been singing again. I didn't mean to disturb you all." I said, blushing. Reel in. 

"That was perfect!!!! 100 points!!! The way you looked so shy, the way you sang, the blush on your face, was just PERFECT!!!! 10000 POINTS!!!!!!!!!" Misuzu gushes.

"It was nothing really." I smiled.

I woke up on the floor, my back in serious pain. I must have fell out of bed.

I walked down stairs to find the host club being yelled at by a girl. 

"HOW COME YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU HIRED A FEMALE HOST?!?!! AS YOUR MANAGER I-" She saw me. Wait I remember her.... 

"Renge?"
