The silent footsteps of Nicole's feet echoed through the hall. The hallway lights were off, and there was no sound (except for the silent footsteps). Finally, she reached the kitchen, where she sat down by the counter.
The darkness was around her a lot, so her eyes grew used to it. The refrigerator murmured, and her breaths came out shaky. Her dark green eyes looked around the kitchen, until she got up. Her knees were shaking as much as her breath. Crumbs lay on the counter, and Nicole could recall the laughter that went on just a few hours ago. Now it was silent, and lonely. She knew that they all didn't except her. She knew.
Finally, she walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. The television was turned off, and the couches unattended. Nicole smiled before she frowned again, and sat down.
Her mind wandered to her weird thoughts. What if she didn't belong here, wasn't accepted? What if everyone just forgot about her and kicked her out, leaving her with nowhere to go? Just like her father. He didn't even give her a chance to throw out all that alcohol that she wanted to get rid of.
The air around her began to go cold. It was like a fan had just turned on. Nicole grabbed her arms and held onto them tightly, rubbing them up and down for heat. Then she heard it.
It was faint, but it was there. Her eyes went wide as she listened to the weird sound. It was a scratching on the side of the house, but it stopped when a voice piped up. It was sweet, but rough.
It was barely audible as well. So, with her legs shaking fiercely, Nicole stood up and started towards the door. The voice got louder.
"Hey," it said, "leave the house alone. My brother lives in there, so we don't need to bother his ass. Come on, Shadow. We got to get home."
Shadow? As Nicole rounded the corner of the house, she saw the little, black cat, who blended into the shadows. No wonder it had that name. Right next to the kitten was a woman, wearing a black jacket, a blur tank top, blue leggings, and black combat boots. Her hair was up in a ponytail, and from Nicole could make out of it, it was brown and blue. Her eyed were black in the night, and she seemed to be a sister of some sort.
She picked the kitten up, petting it's soft fur. "Oh, Shadow. I really hope I get to see Jon again. I hope he remembers me." She giggles as she realizes she is talking to a kitten. "But, tonight isn't the night. He might be a night kind of guy, like Evan, but we won't bother him."
Nicole began to back up, when she hit her back on the house. The girl's head shot up, and her mouth went wide when she saw Nicole.
"Oh, no."
She set the cat down and walked towards Nicole.
"What do you think you're doing near my brother's house, eh? Trying to rob the place, weirdo?" The girl practically screamed, her face right in front of Nicole's face. "'Cause you ain't goin' anywhere, sweetheart. I will call my brother, and he'll beat you up."
With one hand, she reached up and pulled the hair tie out of her hair. It spread down to her hips, it's light brown only halfway while the blue the other.
"You know what?" She pulled up her cuffs of her jacket. "I'm a fuckin' fighter, I'll fight you myself."
She pulled her fist back, and Nicole gasped as the fist came flying towards her face. She jumped back, dodging it, then tackled at the girl's legs. The unknown girl let out a "Oof!", and tried to punch back.
Then Nicole grabbed her by the hair and knocked on the nearest window of the house. The window opened right as Nicole was pushed to the muddy ground, groaning.
"Hello?"
Delirious rubbed his eyes under his mask, looking out into the night. That is when he notices the two women fighting. Fists flying through the air as well as kicks.
"Woah, woah, woah!" He exclaimed, not caring as he jumped out of the window. He raced to the two girls and pulled them apart, Nicole squirming to get out of his grip. "Who are you," he said to the mysterious girl.
She laughed. "You don't remember me? Insanity, Del. Alice."
"Alice?"
He let go of them, and went into a hug with Alice (_Death_Gamer_Girl), while she smirked over his shoulder at Nicole. She growled, turned around, and stomped back into the house.

The next morning, Nicole woke to the sound of laughter. Memories from last night began flooding back, and she jumped from the bed, noticing Elliot not in her beanbag.
More to come, my people!
The secret no one knew. What or who was it? Alice, Delirous's sister. He now has a secret twin sister and brother.
Well, that was a short chapter. I wanted to introduce her, as she and the rest will always be major roles in this book.
I hope ye enjoyed, and leave a comment below, telling me how I did!
Thank you.
