~Jayy's Pov~
I groaned as I woke up to searing headache. Damn, what the fuck happened last night? I heard a soft groan from beside me and looked over. My eyes widened and I jumped up, out of the bed. Wait...bed? What the fuck? I looked around and noticed I was in a hotel room, my clothes were scattered on the floor along with Shawn's. But how the hell did I get here? Last I remember, I was at the bar.
I hurriedly put my clothes back on before sitting down at the desk. I placed my head in my hands and closed my eyes. Trying to remember exactly what happened last night only made my headache worse. The only thing I knew for certain was that I cheated on Andy. That much was clear but I couldn't remember any of it.
As much as I regret doing this to Andy, I stayed where I was. I'm not the type to do something like this and then just leave the person there, wondering what the fuck had happened the night before. I sat there with my eyes closed, taking great comfort in the silence that the room held. The sound of the bed moving caught my attention and I looked up. Shawn was sitting up, holding his head. He looked around, searching for something. Or someone. His eyes fell upon me at last and they, like mine, went wide.
"Holy shit..." He muttered.
I looked away as he shifted so he could get out of bed. I placed my head back in my hands and closed my eyes as the headache grew worse. Gotta love hangovers. I heard Shawn rustling about the room as he found his clothes and got dressed. After that, I didn't hear anything. All sound around me went dead. After a couple of seconds, the sound came back and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I jumped and looked up, meeting Shawn's eyes.
"Sorry about last night." He said.
"Don't worry about it."
"You sure?" He asked.
I nodded and stood up. We both made our way out of the hotel room and to the elevator. The entire time we were in there, we were silent and we stood on opposite sides though the distance wasn't enough to fix anything. We made our way to the lobby and Shawn paid for the room, much to my displeasure. I sighed and reached in my pocket for my phone. Nothing.
What the hell? Oh yeah, I left it home. Luckily, Shawn let me use his. I thought about calling Andy but then he'd more than likely ask questions about why I was at a hotel with Shawn. I ended up calling Dahvie. I told him about the situation and he came and got me. He dropped me off at Andy's and wished me luck.
I planned on telling Andy what happened though even I barely knew the half of it. I walked into the house and looked around. It was incredibly quiet which meant Andy wasn't up yet. I decided to take some aspirin to at least dull the headache down and headed upstairs. I made my way to the bedroom and opened the door. Andy's sleeping form lay on the bed.
Deciding to let him sleep, I took a nice, long shower. I got dressed in fresh clothes and looked at my reflection in the mirror. Hmmmm...I'm just gonna go with eyeliner today. I lined my eyes with eyeliner and put my usual blue contacts in. As I walked out of the bathroom, I hear my phone vibrate on the nightstand.
I rushed over and grabbed it, careful to make sure Andy hadn't woken up. I noticed that I had 17 new messages. Most from Scout but there were a couple from Andy. He probably thought I had my phone with me last night. I read his messages first. My heart instantly shattered as I read each of them.
I didn't realize the way I've been treating him these past couple of weeks. And to top it all off, what happened last night will surely be the icing to the cake to his week. I'm sure of it. Mentally sighing, I read all of Scout's messages. It probably was a stupid move since I already felt terrible but whatever.
I don't know what her issue is. She keeps telling me all of these bullshit things but who was stupid enough to believe them? This guy. Apparently, while she was spending time with Andy, she was studying me, figuring out my breaking points. And she was using them all against me now. I thought about doing the same to her but I hardly knew anything about her. I'd spent so much time avoiding her that I didn't get to know anything about her. Other than a few things Andy had told me.
I deleted all of her messages and set my phone back on the nightstand. Andy shifted in his sleep and opened his eyes to look at me. At first, he seemed confused to see me but then his expression became unreadable. I sighed and kneeled down beside the bed. He watched me carefully, studying my movements. I'm sorry but you're gonna hate me..
"I have to tell you something." I said.
He didn't say anything.
"I don't know how to tell you this and I know that you'll hate me for it but I kinda cheated on you last night." I said.
I watched his face, looking for any change in his expression. His facial expression didn't change but the emotion in his eyes did.
"Why?" He asked.
I shrugged. "I don't remember it exactly. All I remember is that I went to the bar and then I woke up in a hotel room next to a guy."
"So you were drunk?" He asked.
"Yeah but I know that isn't an excuse for cheating and I'm sure you've heard it all before. But I will say that I'm deeply sorry and I regret doing that to you." I apologized.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I forgive you." He said. "But I want to know something."
"What is it?" I asked.
"Why have you been so...distant?"
"Scout's been harassing me." I said.
He raised an eyebrow at me. "Why would she do that?"
I shrugged.
"What's she been saying?"
"I don't remember since I deleted all of the messages." I said.
That's when he flashed me a look that told me he didn't believe me. I sighed and stood up. He looked up at me with a raised eyebrow. I just shook my head and walked out of the room. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I made myself a sandwich and ate it. After a couple of minutes, Andy walked in with my phone in his hand. I raised an eyebrow.
"Why do you have my phone?" I asked.
"You have a message."
"From?"
"Scout."
I grabbed the phone out of his hand and read the message. Then, I handed it back to him.
"If you don't believe me when I say that she's harassing me, there's your proof."
He read the message and looked up at me in shock.
"How long has she been doing this?"
"Since the day after we got back together." I said.
"Have you told anyone?"
I shook my head.
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because I like to solve my problems on my own. This one's just taking to long to get rid of." I said.
He raised an eyebrow then texted Scout back. I had a slight urge to rip the phone away from him but I knew he was trying to help out so I held back. They messaged back and forth for almost an hour before he finally just ripped the battery out and threw both the phone and battery across the room, where they hit the wall and shattered. Well, there goes my phone.
