Anakin:

Leia slept peacefully in her seat of the speeder, the wind blowing through her soft brown curls, and Anakin stared lovingly at her.

Turning his eyes back to the stream of vehicles, Anakin's short-lived happiness ended. Somewhere out there was his wife and child. Anakin didn't know the first place to look, much less who captured them. How this had all happened in such a short time, he was unaware.

Luke's force-signature was being blocked by something or someone. Slowly, the ripping sensation Leia mentioned had begun ebbing away at him as well. Some one Force-sensitive must have taken his family. It was the only plausible explanation. That or Luke was shielding himself, though it was highly unlikely. The boy didn't have the knowledge or strength to do that yet.

Anakin reached the Jedi Temple and awoke little Leia. "Come on angel, let's go see Uncle Obi. While you do that, I'm going to see if I can find your mom and brother, alright?" Anakin lifted her out of the speeder and kneeled beside her and Leia nodded sleepily, then he led her inside.

Just as seven years prior, Anakin walked right into Obi-Wan. "Oh, Anakin! Is everything alright? You rushed out earlier and-" Anakin cut the rambling man off, not having the time or attention to listen to his rambling. "No. I need you to watch Leia, I'm going on a search. Thanks!" Anakin handed off his daughter hastily and returned to the speeder, driving off.

Obi-Wan turned to Leia, smiling uneasily. "Hello Uncle Obi," the child said innocently, her eyes full of fear.

As Anakin drove, ideas of where his family could be flashed by, but each was quickly dismissed. The more he thought, the further each idea became. Frustration came over him, and Anakin let out a shout of anger.

A flash of pain caught his attention. A dark speck in the otherwise light background. Luke. Anakin thought darkly. The pain came from Luke. Quickly to latch on to the signature, Anakin grasped at the connection before it faded. With a gasp, he realized where it was.

It was coming from Naboo.

Luke:

Luke slept uneasily on the flight to who-knows-where. Earlier, he felt the excruciating pain that is cauterizing a wound and it had worn him out.

Forcing himself from the state of rest, Luke's eyes opened very slowly. "Rise my sweet, we're here," a sweet voice soothed him. Luke nodded and tried to do so. And he immediately regretted that decision.

A burst of pain made him fall to the floor, his head pounding. Luke groaned, clutching his leg. "Oh..my poor baby!" Padmè cried, and picked him up tenderly, her gaze full of love and care. Luke didn't fail to notice the flash of pain in his mother's eyes as she used her injured arm, but couldn't do anything as his pain rendered him speechless.

Resting his head on his mother's shoulder, they embarked on a new journey. "This way," a monotone voice called, causing him to lift his head and stare at the men in strange suits. "We're beyond the outer rim; far beyond. No one will find you here," a soldier assured them, but Luke didn't think it was to put their minds at ease.

It was meant to frighten them.

Luke and Padmè were led down a dark hall, metal squeaking beneath his mother's feet. "This is the Death Star. From here, Lord Sidious will create his empire. A role both of you will take part in. I'll let my master explain the rest," a man said before stepping out of the room, leaving them to dark and silence.

Padmè held him tighter to her, and Luke relished in the comfort of a mother's embrace. Looking around, he took notice of all the eery shadows the room cast. Luke could bare it no longer, so he just buried his face in Padmè's hair.

A large door hissed open, no light emitting whatsoever. Inside was a cloaked figure, face all disfigured. "Ah yes. My apprentice, you have arrived!" The man croaked in fake happiness, taking steps toward them.

"You!" Luke's mother hissed. "You died! Seven years ago!" Padmè continued. Luke looked back and forth from the man to his mother, pondering the relationship. "No. Tell your husband to watch his aim next time, he missed." The man said sarcastically. Luke wondered what they were really talking about.

Under the man's cloak, yellow eyes were glowing. evilly "You. You are the man the scary men told us of, aren't you?" Luke tried to interrogate, doing the best he could for being a young child. "Smart one you are, young Skywalker. Smart indeed," the man chuckled darkly. He whimpered in fear, wishing he could be back with Leia, playing.

"And now, young Skywalker, I need an apprentice. Your father failed me seven years ago, I need a fresh palette," the man removed the hood. "Come with me, boy," he hissed, and Luke quickly nodded. "Mother?" he turned to face sad brown eyes.

"Do not try it, Amidala, I can kill your family with a flick of my wrist!" Sidious threatened. Padmè gulped, furiously fighting tears. "Go, my son, I will be here when you return," his mother finally choked out before setting him on the ground. Luke nodded and limped behind the man.

"Lay down, this won't hurt," Sidious croaked, faking kindness again. Hobbling over to the table, Luke tried to calm his nerves. Whatever Sidious was doing, he had made it clear he needed Luke. He wouldn't kill him..right?

Luke was strapped on to the table, and Sidious smiled. "We are going to lock your memories away, and if your mother tries anything..it will cause you immense pain. You'll get new memories to replace those lost. You'll be a new person, Luke Skywalker locked away, and together, we can rule the galaxy!" Sidious promised, and Luke tried not to cry out.

Sidious's hand reached forward, pulling at his memories. Slowly, the memories were locked away, unreachable. The first face to fade away was his metaphorical uncle, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Then, memories disappeared from his grasp.

Luke screamed. He screamed like never before, his head pounding. Then, his family went. Right before he was gone, Luke caught a glimpse of Leia asleep in a speeder beside their father. 'Father..'  Luke whispered through the force, right as it all ended.

Then, memories flooded his head, washing over him. There was a man, long blonde hair and a scar over his eye striking down another youthful man. The blonde was Anakin Skywalker, and the youthful man was Luke's father. Then, he saw Padmè Amidala being crowned Empress of the galaxy, his mother.

Then he saw Jedi, thousands of Jedi striking down innocents. Right then and there, Luke developed a hatred for everyone but his mother. Next, Luke saw Darth Sidious rescuing him from the carnage of the Jedi, promising to protect him and teach him the ways of the Sith.

"Do you understand now, Luke?" Sidious asked him.

"Yes, my master."

Eeek! The big moment is here!! Who is excited?? But it's sad also, dark!Luke and all :( but also EXCITING!!

May the force be with you-
