Quick note: for purposes not yet known (to you at least), I changed how old the twins were when separated. Instead of being five, they were seven. Instead of ten years apart, it was eight.
Anakin:
"Close your eyes. Feel the force around you," Anakin spoke in a soothing tone. Across from him, Sarah took a deep-breath. The thirteen year old had taken giant leaps in the force, and had made Anakin proud to be her master.
And with Leia gone, Sarah played the role of comfort for him. She was family after all. And now with the news of Leia being with Padmè and Luke, Anakin was definitely more at peace. But he could see it in Sarah's eyes that she needed the comfort more.
In his meditative state, he barely heard the beeping of the data-pad. "Master," Sarah said, and Anakin was once more in the world of consciousness. "Oh. Sorry," he said sheepishly, grabbed the data pad, and left for the cockpit.
Obi Wan was staring intently at the mottled view of hyperspace. Obviously in deep thought. Anakin had told no one of Leia's conversation with him. As if voicing the news would take away, it wouldn't be real anymore.
"Anakin," his master said, turning to face him. "We should let Sarah try to contact Leia, they had such a strong bond-" Obi Wan started, but he cut the Jedi Master off. "No. She's already been draining herself attempting to do it, I won't let her keep hurting herself!"
Obi Wan looked mildly alarmed, but it quickly passed. "Why don't you talk to her then. She took Leia's capture hard," Kenobi pressed, and Anakin nodded.
Departing from the cockpit, he left towards Sarah and Leia's shared quarters. Sarah was sitting on the ground mumbling, her skin pale. Anakin quietly knocked on the wall beside the doorway, and his padawan nearly jumped ten feet in the air.
"Sarah, you've got to stop.." Anakin looked down, and Sarah shook her head in defiance. Swallowing, Anakin decided to share his news. "Leia already contacted me. She's with her mother and brother. She's okay Sarah, you can stop," Anakin finished, resting a hand on the girl's shoulder.
Sarah threw her arms around him, burying her face in his robes. "Thank you, Master," she whispered, trying to hide her emotion. "How many times do I have to tell you, it's Anakin!" He laughed, ruffling Sarah's curls.
"Alright Mas- Anakin!" Sarah burst out laughing as well. Together, the master and padawan made their way to the cockpit where their friends were awaiting.
Padmè:
"Alright Leia, let's get you fixed up," Padmè smiled as they sat Leia down in front of a mirror. "How do you like your hair?" Anni asked. "Swirls on the sides of my head, like a bun," Leia informed.
"Clothing choice?" Maya asked. "Simple white dress with a belt for my saber, and my black Jedi robes," Leia said, looking down at her burnt clothes that were similar to the description.
"I don't have Jedi robes, but I've got robes. Here, go change, and maybe shower," Hylla handed Leia everything from her list. Once Leia was in the refresher, and the water could be heard, Padmè sat peacefully on her bed.
"You have a lovely daughter," Hylla spoke, breaking the silence. "Thank you," Padmè whispered sweetly, smiling. "I wish we could see both Luke and Leia together. Maybe Luke could remember!" Maya started, and Padmè nodded.
"Yes, maybe he could. But that truth could break Leia's heart. She's a Jedi, and he's a..a.." Padmè drifted off, unable to continue.
Maya gave her a soft pat on the shoulder as reassurance. The girls had always been so supportive of her, and Padmè thanked them for that.
The water in the other room abruptly stopped, and soft humming and footsteps could be heard now. The door slid open, and Leia entered wearing the Jedi attire, and her long wet hair was down.
"Here," Anni gestured to the chair. Leia quickly sat, and the girls began to towel dry her long chocolate colored hair.
Once the wetness was gone, Hylla and Maya pulled each side into elegant twists and turns. When the style was finally done, Leia's hair was pulled into two side buns. The girls spun her around for Padmè to see her daughter.
Leia was smiling softly, but almost immediately reached out to embrace her. Padmè quickly returned the favor, relishing in the fact that her daughter was finally reunited with her.
Mother and daughter stayed in contact for more than a little while. When they- reluctantly -released each other, the girls had all moved on to other things.
"Now, to bargain with Sidious," Padmè's face twisted with disgust at having to mention that horrible monster's name. She led Leia out of the room and down multiple halls, until they finally reached the throne room of the emperor.
"Sidious," she took a small now for effect. "Amidala," Sisious raised an eyebrow- well, a deformed part of his face that used to be an eyebrow. "Skywalker," he hissed, taking notice to Leia.
"I want Leia to get personal quarters here aboard the Death Star. And I want three meals a day provider for her," Padmè explained her terms.
"And what do I get in return, might I ask?" Sidious asked her. "I-I'll let Luke spend more time with you, go on more missions," Padmè said, and the monster's face lit up.
"Done. Now, be gone. I'll have someone set up a room," Sidious said with a wave of his hand. Padmè and Leia left feeling accomplished, they had Sidious at bay.
For now.
Whoo! The Anakin POV idea was given to me by my friend Sarah, who Sarah Skywalker Lars is based on. Credit for the idea goes to her!
