Leia:Leia sat in silence as she ate her meal. Her mother had made sure the meal was fit for royalty, but she didn't necessarily care. All she wanted was for her family to be united.
Leia's mother had made some-what clear that Luke 'away'. And to be away, you had to have left and then return to the same place. So Luke would show up at some point..right?
She had also said something about a memory wipe. Surely, he couldn't forget Leia? Deciding it was high-time to contact her family, she stretched out with the force.
Father?
She waited patiently for a response, knowing her father could be doing anything anywhere.
Leia?!
Her father's voice called back desperately.
Yes father, it's me. I'm on what I'm assuming is the Death Star, with..mother.
She felt her father tense through the force.
Your mother is on there?! And, what about..Lu-Luke?
Leia was a little concerned for her father, he sounded almost scared!
He should be back soon.
I miss you. Stay safe, Leia.
Leia sent her own goodbye as well. Once the conversation was truly over, she thought about his odd, immense relief in hearing Luke was with them. Almost as if he was hearing the truth behind a lie..
Shaking the feeling off, Leia laid to rest on the small blanket.

When she heard the pounding of feet, Leia was awoken. After a few moments, she was able to lift the heavy eye-lids.
Her gaze was met with tons of white boots.
The brightness abruptly woke up her mind, and Leia sat up yawning. She hadn't slept well, and the floor was a little too hard for her liking.
Her door swung open, and an elegant gown blocked her view. Quickly, she stood to meet her new company. "Mother," Leia said, throwing her arms around Padmè.
Padmè brushed her hair affectionately, and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. Oh how Leia had missed her..
"Good morning, Leia. I brought you some food. And I'm taking you out of here today. We're taking you to see Sidious this evening to discuss your limitations around the Death Star, but until then, you're with us," Padmè explained, handing her the plate.
"Us?" Leia asked, confused. Padmè only smiled wider. "Leia, meet Hylla, Maya, and Anni," she said, moving to reveal three blonde girls. "Good morning My Lady," they said in unison, taking a bow.
Leia shot her mother a look that asked for an explanation, but not after smiling to the girls. "My handmaidens," Padmè stated simply. Leia nodded.
"Good morning.." She started, but drifted off. "Hylla," the tallest girl stepped up. "Maya," the more medium girl moved forward. "Anni," the youngest advanced. Leia nodded in gratitude, then shook hands with each of them.
"Well, let's get it started then!"
Luke:
In his weakened state, Luke ran back to his ship. He cursed Anakin Skywalker for bringing on whatever this pain was, and gritted his teeth.
"Stupid..stupid!" He muttered as he realized the mistake of removing his mask.
Luke was shocked to hear that Anakin knew his first name- not very many people did. But Skywalker? Even the things he had done didn't deserve that curse!
The name had struck a cord with him, he had to admit. Like a part of him that was locked away had seen the key and yearned to be unlocked.
Why did Luke feel that way?
Pushing the thought away, Luke made way towards his ship. Time was of the essence in getting back to home, the Death Star.
His mother and Master Sidious were waiting, and he could not, and would not disappoint him. He had a feeling something amazing was awaiting him.
As he made the jump to light speed, Luke couldn't help but feel unease towards his master. It was unexplainable, really. Maybe it had something to do with the name.
Whatever it was, it caused his trust in Sidious to waver.
Deciding to get his mind of the subject, he called his mother. "Hello? Whoever this is, I'm a little bus- oh, Luke!" His mother smiled. "Hi mother," he smiled back.
"Is everything alright? Are you alright?" She asked. Luke shook his head. "Anakin called me Luke Skywalker, and it made my head feel like it was exploding!" Luke explained.
His mother now donned a pained expression, then sighed. "Just come home. Please, come home," she implored, and Luke nodded.
In the background, a voice called out but bits were muffled. "M-m! Pa-mè! Pad-e!" A female voice shouted. "Hmm? I'll be right there!" Padmè turned around to talk to the voice.
"Bye. I love you," she waved, and signed off. Seeing as he had nothing else to do, Luke decided to take a nap.
When sleep overcame him, he saw a planet made of buildings and lights- Coruscant. His vision tunneled towards a building. Then an apartment. Then, finally, two small children.
A small blonde boy held a model star-fighter, and he made little motions as if it were flying. His mouth made a small 'vroom' noise, and he giggled.
The curls-of-chocolate haired little girl danced around with a doll, playing with the dolls hair. Both the children giggled in unison. The boy stood up and ran around the veranda, star-fighter in hand.
Then, the little girl backed up. The boy tripped over her. With a gasp, the boy fell to the ground. The girl spun around, ready to yell but froze. "Oh, brother! Your star-fighter!" The little girl cried to her brother.
The boy stood up and appeared to be crying. "I-it took me m-months to bu-build that!" He cried, and fell to his knees to pick up the pieces. The girl sighed and gave her brother a hug. Together, they began to clean up the mess that caused the little boy grief.
With a gasp, he realized knew the girl. Somewhere in the back of his memory, she was there.
Writing Luke's dream was so fun! It kind of makes me want to write a companion book about the five years that Anakin and Padmè raised Luke and Leia! What do you guys think? It would be awhile before it was published, seeing as I have a sequel planned. Also, updates might be a little slower. We're nearing the end of the school year (wow) and things are picking up pace.
May the force be with you-
