Han:
Quietly, Han, Sarah, and Chewie left the Millennium Falcon. Sarah had- hopefully -discovered the location of Leia and the others. They all had a sneaking suspicion that the adults would not let them go. They would have wanted to devise a flawless plan and wait for the absolute right moment to strike.
Anakin most likely would have agreed with Han and the others, but old man Obi Wan would talk sense into the reckless Jedi Master. Han did not have time for sense. "Are you sure about this?" Sarah turned to look at him. Her brown eyes- almost exactly identical to Leia's -were filled with a deep concern, worry, and a spark of hope.
"I'm sure," Han responded with second thought as they walked through the green foliage of the planet, Yavin IV. They passed a few ancient Massasi Temples where the small Rebel Alliance was currently based.
Han regretted not being able to take his beloved Falcon, but that would ruin the plan. "Here's our ride," Sarah said, gesturing to the two worn down Y Wings. "One is for you, Chewie. I didn't really think a regular X-Wing would really seat you comfortably. And Han, you and I will take the other one," Sarah explained to them all, making small gestures with her hands.
"Do you even know where this so-called moon is?" Han questioned the girl further. "Yes. It's by Alderaan. I know what I'm doing, you nerf herder!" Sarah said, exasperated with him and his pestering. Han rolled his eyes, and made a what-ever gesture with his hand.
"Well, I'll follow your lead from now on, little Ms.Moisture Farmer!" Han retorted, raising his voice.
A sharp pain flared in his face, causing Han to stumble back. He barely registered the fist that had swung toward him at an unimaginable speed. "You shut up! I was raised properly there, and Owen and Beru died there! It taught me respect and gratitude, not like you'd ever understand!" Sarah shouted.
"You know what, I can accomplish this mission on my own," she said, then stabbed her light saber through the glass of one ship, causing an earsplitting crash. She then proceeded to climb into the remaining Y-Wing. The engine started, and Sarah's ship began to disappear from view.
A swooshing noise sounded from behind them. "Master Han? Master Chewbacca? Where is Mistress Sarah going?" C-3PO's annoying voice asked. "Somewhere where I'm not," Han said blankly. "Well sir, shouldn't you follow her to ensure she is safe, or to work out your dispute?" C-3PO tilted his golden head. "I don't want to talk to her!" He responded.
3rd P.O.V:
Her small figure crept down the eerily silent halls- too silent. Something indeed was amiss aboard this space station. That much she was sure of. The Death Star gave her a bad feeling- a premonition of sorts.
The further away from her ship she became, the more uneasiness settled within her. The light saber hilt at her side did nothing to assure or comfort her. Here, she felt alone and vulnerable. Something evil was lurking in these walls.
"Why would she keep this.." A voice sounded from behind her, startling her. Quickly and quietly, she whirled around to meet her silent attacker, and was face to face with a surprised Leia Skywalker.
Leia:
Leia had decided to take a moment to think things through once she was sure that Luke would be alright- she was his sister after all. "Why would she keep this.." Leia started but drifted off uneasily when she saw feet from her lowered gaze.
Quickly, Leia felt around for a lightsaber that wasn't there. Defeat settled over her, until she saw who the figure was.
"Sarah?" Leia gasped. "Oh, Sarah!" She threw her arms around her cousin. The girls both laughed in relief. "So, your family's on board?" Sarah questioned, pulling her arms away slowly. "Yes. Luke is asleep in my mother's quarters. Mother wondered off somewhere.." Leia said.
Then her mind drifted to the fact why her mother had disappeared to the solitude the Death Star offered. Distantly, Leia knew she had kept the secret for Leia's own wellbeing- both emotional and physical. Maybe she shouldn't have been so harsh.
"Well, let's go find her!" Sarah smiled and grabbed her hand. Knowing Padmè, she was probably in the gardens. "This way," Leia directed. The two girls ran down mazes of corridors until they reached the elegant glass doors.
"Mother?" Leia called once inside. She spotted her figure standing still, staring at nothing. Finally, Padmè turned to look at her. "You, you are Sarah!" Padmè smiled, and went to hug them both. "I'm sorry," both Leia and Padmè said at once.
Mother and daughter burst out laughing and instantly knew they had forgiven each other.
"Hello, I'm Padmè," Mother smiled to Sarah. "It's nice to finally meet you," Sarah smiled. "The pleasure is all mine," Padme gave a small curtsy. "Would you like a place to stay or perhaps freshen up?" Leia asked. Sarah nodded, looking down at her torn and muddy Jedi robes. "Well, right this way,"
For the time being, Leia had offered to let Sarah bunk with her. The offer was accepted happily, and the two had made way for the hall where her quarters were located. "So, how come it was just you to come? I had assumed my father would be the first one here," Leia asked her cousin.
"Well, I was originally accompanied by Han and the fuzzball, but Han started insulting me and how I was raised, so I smashed their transport's viewport so they couldn't immediately follow. I guess I got a little carried away," Sarah responded sheepishly, looking down as a slight blush burned her cheeks.
"Indeed. Your anger serves you well. Use it, and you'll achieve greatness," a wicked voice croaked, and the two girls whirled around to meet the source. It was the old, wicked and deformed Darth Sidious. And standing next to him, was none other than Luke. Though by his eyes, she knew Luke was gone.
The blue eyes were almost gone. Only the outer rim of his once beautiful eyes remained. The rest was a sickening gold color. "Luke!" She gasped, feeling defeat control her again. "It is too late for me, my sister," he shook his head, a small sliver of blue returning, if only for a moment.
Stormtroopers footsteps rang out from behind, signaling their was no escape route they could take. Cold cuffs were placed around her wrists, blocking out the force. She could feel it, yet it's use was forbidden.
"Your father, along with Master Kenobi, Han Solo, and the wookie should be arriving soon. Soon, your little rebellion will be dead! And you, along with it."
Well, this certainly was a longer chapter. Hope you enjoyed! Don't know if you can tell yet, but this story is coming to a close.
