8 Years Later:

The twin Suns of Tatooine glistened on the horizon, signaling the nearing of the day's end. Just another day, like all the others for the past ten years.

Leia sighed. It been eight years since her mother, Padmè, and brother, Luke, had disappeared. They had searched and searched to no avail, but that never stopped them. "Leia," came a soft voice from behind her. Leia immediately recognized it.

"Sarah," Leia turned, her hair and robes fluttering in the wind. Leia and Sarah had a small age difference, two years to be exact, but that never bothered them. "Come on. Han and your father were getting worried," Sarah said, her brown curly hair whipping around her face in the wind.

Leia nodded, and followed her step-cousin to dinner. Seeing her small family gathered around made her smile, though two very important people were missing.

The Jedi that had arrived with them had all moved on eventually- with the exception of Obi-Wan- and were either minding their own business on Tatooine, or hidden away somewhere in the outer rim.

Han and Chewbacca had stuck around too. The Corillian was now twenty-five, but he acted around the same age as when they had met on Aldreaan. The same age Leia was at the moment. The wookie was just the wookie, she had no idea how old the fur ball was.

Sarah sat across from her, eating her meal in silence. Sarah was fairly tall, and had a deep tan. She also had brown, frizzy hair, but it was mostly always up with the exception of her padawan braid. Obi-Wan and Anakin had both contributed to teaching her the ways of the force.

Her father was now thirty-seven, but acted as if he was still in his early twenties. He even looked the same too, other than the constant sadness and longing in his eyes. Obi-Wan, Owen and Beru showed their age, but it never bothered them.

In her mind, she always wondered what Luke and their mother looked like now. Padmè was now forty-three, and Luke was fifteen. Would her mother still have the same smile? The same warm brown eyes? Would she even recognize Luke?

"-ia. Leia!" A voice snapped her from her thoughts. "Yes father?" She responded immediately. "We found new information, there is a rumor the empire has them," Anakin said, eyes alight with hope. "Really? The Empress doesn't seem like one to have prisoners for this long.." Leia gasped.

"We've also got some dirt on the empress. Apparently she's a traitor to Naboo, and she's only an image for the followers of the Empire. The real ruler is the Emperor." Her father informed her, looking smug.

"I want in," Sarah said. "And you can come. In the morning, be packed and don't forget your sabers. Soon, we'll have our family."

Darth Starkiller:

"Young Starkiller. We have found the location of the Skywalker's, and their little Jedi followers," Sidious approached them. "And what would you like me to do?" He turned to his master.

"Dispose of the others. Bring the Skywalker's and their transport to me," Sidious croaked, and Starkiller smirked. "Of course. I'll grab my supplies and troops. We will be back soon,"

Starkiller walked down the long halls towards his living quarters, a cape flowing behind him. A door hissed open to the left, and his mother stepped out. "Luke! I heard you got a mission. Where are you going?" She asked nervously.

"Tatooine. I'll be back soon," he gave Padmè a hug, then entered his room.

Starkiller looked at his reflection in the refresher mirror. Bright gold eyes stared back at him, and blonde hair cast shadows over his face. Quickly, he grabbed the small black mask, and threw on his cloak. "Perfect.." he laughed, and the machine modified his voice.

He grabbed his saber, and stormed out of the room. Soldiers passed him, and he stopped a certain one. "Piett. Prepare my ship, it must be ready in ten minutes, or there will be consequences. Got that?" He threatened gruffly, and the poor general nodded.

"Right away, sir," Piett said, running off the the ships. Starkiller sighed, and looked at the holo-images of his targets. Leia Skywalker's blank expression popped up, and Starkiller winced. Something about this felt wrong.

Finally, he was aboard his ship, making the jump to light speed.

Hours later, Tatooine came into view. "Finally," he smirked, beginning to land. Once everything was ready, he started his speeder.

He hadn't been to Tatooine in years, his first and last mission here had been at the age of thirteen. Nothing had changed since then. A moisture farm came into focus in front of the rising sun, and he knew he had arrived.

Jumping of the vehicle, the sand and rock crunched beneath his feet. A small howl came from somewhere, but Starkiller paid it no mind. Creeping down the stairs, voices echoed of the stone walls. The bodies that belonged to the voices could be seen now.

"Where are Leia and Anakin Skywalker!?" He hissed, igniting his saber. "They're gone! You'll never find them!" An older woman stepped forward in defiance, but he had heard enough already.

"You'll pay for letting them go.." He warned, then spun and set the farm alight. Using the force, he gathered up the smoke and aimed it to the now choking couple.

As the homestead burned, he stood watching. He had just missed the Skywalker's. They would pay for slipping away. Next time, there would be no getaway. A boom sounded, and a junky ship set of towards the twin Suns.

Growling, Starkiller started the speeder once more.

Well, I did say things were going to change...

I've gotten so many reads and so much praise in such a short time! I'm so happy you guys are enjoying it.
