Chapter 7

We sat down in maths, luckily I sit next to Alice. But in front of us is Callum. Can it be anymore awkward? Anyway, sir was going on about percentages and we wasn't actually listening. Alice was taking selfies from under the desk and I was sitting, staring at Callum. Until...

"Well, Scarlett? Can you explain how to do it?" Interrupted Mr Malcon. I was sitting in my own world with just me and Callum. But sir ruined it and I didn't even know the answer.

"Err...I erm..." I stutter, looking at Alice, hoping she can mime the answer to me.

"No, you cant. Can you?" He questions. I shake my head no and look down. Everyone stared at me.

"You need to get your head out of the clouds, young lady. Now pay attention. Anyone else know the answer?" He continued, rambling on. I was embarrassed, not because everyone was looking. But because Callum was looking, I must have looked so stupid. He carried the lesson on with me- still not listening. Mr Malcon didn't pick on me after that, he must of known he'd done enough damage...

The bell rang and everyone stood up. I knew what was coming now, sir does that old 'the bell doesn't dismiss you, I do.' thing and everyone sighs. He lets us go but tells me to wait at the door.

"Listen, Scarlett. You need to start listening more in my lessons. I mean it. Your grades will go down and your a lovely, bright student. Please take my advice or I will change the seating plan. Okay?" He says, his words are right, I always used to put my hand up and stuff. I don't anymore... And I really don't want to get moved from by Alice. I nod at sir and walk rapidly to Alice.

"Ugh, what did he want?" Snarled Alice, looking back at sir pushing up his glasses. I actually like Mr Malcon, he was always nice to me.

"Oh nothing, just about paying attention." I reply as if it's nothing. Alice takes everything like its nothing. Oh, I got detention. It's nothing. Oh, I got baby wiped, it's nothing. I'll just put it back on. This is literally what she's like. I actually do care about my education and me liking Callum isn't helping seen as he is in almost all of my lessons.

We walk to next lesson quicker because we don't mind art. Actually, I love art. I'm quite good at it. Miss said I could really go places, even though I don't really see where art is gonna get me in life. I chose it because I used to really be in to drawing, I still am sometimes. And it's not that hard seen as there isn't much revision and stuff.

Ok guys so this chapter was a bit crappy because I want to kinda get her day over with. I've got some good things planned for the next one so yeaaa :))
