Chapter 10

There was an awkward silence.

"So, I heard you talking to Ellie earlier on."

"Oh...yeah."

"She can be quite mean sometimes.."

Quite. Quite mean. She's horrible.

"Yeah, I-I um, had stuff going on with her a while ago." I reply, trying not to make eye contact.

"She's quite annoying, I used to date her in year 10 but she was so clingy and ughh."

I freeze. Callum went out with Ellie? He is way to good for her. She's fake, blonde, typical 'I have big boobs, a short skirt and a face full of makeup' girl. I carry on painting as if I wasn't bothered.

"Sooo...shall we go and get something to eat?" I'm hungry." I say trying to break the silence.

"Sure, I'm starving!" He laughed and followed me downstairs. By now most of the room has been painted and it's getting late.  We go down and I get us some pasta from my dad and Keith's tea.

"You know when you said you had stuff going on with Ellie a while ago, what did u mean?" Said Callum with a mouthful of pasta. I stop and play with my food a little.

"Oh, well she was in my primary school and, well, she used to um...bully me." I mumble.

"Oh I'm so sorry...I shouldn't of brought it up."

"No it's fine, she stopped in year 8, it was just a bit of teasing then. I'm over it now and I know how to defend myself."

"Yeah, I heard at the shop."

Ok so this chapter was kinda emotional? Idek but who do u like best so far? I've got 30+ reads ohhhh tysm!! ^-^
