huffing and puffing, Nina slumped to the floor in her wolf form. She had been walking for at least a couple of hours. More exercise then she had ever gotten back at the pack.
"Do you want me to take over?" Frosts voice rang out in Nina's head
"you can do that!?!?!?"
In an instant, Nina felt herself go limp. As if losing all control over her body. Suddenly, it felt as though Nina was looking through the eyes of someone else. Even though she still knew it was her own body, she was not in control.
"You never asked" came Frost's reply. After a couple of seconds, she started running
It was like Nina was watching a movie. The only difference was that she could change whatever outcome this movie had.
"what are we going to do now?" It was almost night time. Nina always loved the dark. It was as if she was invisible. No one could hurt her. No one could harm her. The only problem right now was that she was not in the safety of her home. Even if her previous 'home' had barely been safe in the first place.
Slowing down, Frost suddenly ducked under a bush.
"what are you do--" Nina's thoughts were cut short when she heard two voices a good distance away.
"John I don't think this is a good idea"
"Mabel this is all for you. Don't leave me now. We need to teach that punk a lesson. He thought he could get with you!? with you!? Your my girlfriend. No one can touch you. Especially not that loser."
Listening to the couple argue, Frost and Nina stayed hidden for fear of being discovered by the approaching people. While Frost simply didn't want to be found, Nina was in fear. She was never allowed to go to the city with her sisters or brother. She had never been allowed to really go anywhere really. Because of this, she had never come in contact with any real humans.
Sensing the panic in Nina, Frost was quick to reassure her "don't worry. They wont harm you or anything. The most they could do is poke us with a stick and scream"
"Johnny, please don't do this." The people were now closer to Nina and Frost. They kept getting closer and closer to where the white wolf was hiding.
As Frost prepared to bare her teeth and growl at the now arguing couple, another set of footsteps appeared.
"Shit, Hes coming, hide!" The female pushed her partner behind a tree.
Poking her head from under the bushes so she could get a better view of what was going on, Frost discovered another male approaching the girl. This boy looked less rough than the other. He had less muscle, looked to be a bit shorter, and definitely appeared much more nervous.
"Y-you wanted to meet here?" The boy stuttered
Turning towards the boy, Frost saw Mabel's whole demeanor change. From nervous and panicking, she suddenly looked seductive and flirty.
"Mhm" Mabel nodded while she started to approach the nervous boy. "Maybe we could.......get to know each other a little better" She said while reaching out to him and rubbing her index finger along his arm.
The boy visibly shivered. Mabel took that as a hint to continue. "You know, your actually pretty cute without your glasses" She grabbed the boys glasses and tossed them to the side.
"A-Ah I cant see without those" The boy mumbled frantically while Mabel pushed her body into his.
As Mabel continued seducing the boy, Frosts ears picked up more footsteps approaching them. She picked out at least four pairs.
Tuning back into the conversation, Frost peaked her head even further up and realized Mabel had the boy sitting under her.
"I-I don't know if we should be doing this. Th- this isn't a good idea " The boy seemed to squirm under the gaze Mabel was giving him. If Frost and Nina hadn't just witnessed Mabel and John interacting with each other, she might have believed Mabel was really into this boy.
"Don't worry, no one will bother us" She smirked as she started to unzip the boys jeans.
Seeing as how the boy was not complaining or stopping Mabel, John took it as his cue to step out.......along with 4 other boys.
"Well well well. What do we have here" John said as Mabel got off the now frightened boy and went to her boyfriends side.
Slipping his arm around her waste, John signaled to the four other boys with him. They walked over to the boy on the floor and started to kick him. John smiled as he heard the grunts of pain come from the boy.
Nina watched in horror as the boys continued beating the one on the floor. Something in what she was seeing triggered a memory in which she had been in the same position. Feeling a sudden rush of anger, Nina decided it was time she finally did something and stopped being so weak.
Giving Nina full control, Frost was curious as to what Nina would do. She wanted to see how exactly Nina would work in this situation.
Having enough, Nina gave out a loud growl and jumped out from the bushes. The boys all froze in horror and Mabel screamed. With another more threatening growl, Nina started running towards the boys. All at once, everyone started to run. John had left Mabel and had run off with his pals while Mabel ran after them crying.
"That relationship wont last" Frost said to Nina. With a grunt, Nina agreed.
Looking at the now bruised and beaten boy on the floor, Nina searched for his glasses and gently took them within her mouth. Approaching the boy, she nudged him with his glasses as he whimpered at the contact.
"Please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me" She heard the boy whisper under his breath.
giving out a whine, Nina nudged the boy again, and this time placed the glasses near his fingers. She sat there as the boy felt his glasses and then slowly put them on. As his eyes adjusted, they widened at the sight of the large wolf sitting in front of him.
Nina, sensing the fear inside the boy, cautiously approached him. She slowly nudged his face with the tip of her muzzle, hoping he would know she meant no harm.
Shockingly, the boy immediately wrapped his arms around Nina's neck and started sobbing into her fur. Nina knew what this felt like. She sympathized with this boy.
After a couple of minutes, the boy let go of Nina and slowly stood up, his face contorting in pain as he did so. Nina knew he must at least have fractured a rib.
Nudging the boy, Nina let him grab onto her back as he directed her into the direction she assumed was where he could get help.
Nina and the boy walked in silence for the next 10 minutes, save for the occasional hisses of pain the boy made. Finally, after reaching a clearing in the woods, Nina realized the boy had been directing her to his car.
Was he even in any condition to drive, Nina thought.
"I'm fine" The boys voice came out shakily. With one arm still around Nina, he opened his car door and got inside. Before he closed the door, he looked at Nina with puffy red eyes and said what no one had ever said to her before.
"Thank you"
With that, he slowly closed his door and turned his car on. Driving out of the clearing and onto a dirt path, Nina watched as his car got farther away.
"what now?" She thought
"now we follow"
