18. Just a Crush (Part 2)

the timer rang and Nina quickly ran to the oven to grab her roast. She had been cooking for about an hour and was just about done. All she had to do now was put the food onto the table and everything would be set. 

"That actually smells amazing. I'm surprised" 

"Oh wait until you get a taste of it"

Finally setting the roast on the table, Nina took a step back to look at her wonderful creation. 

She had made a ham roast, and added in some vegetables. On the side she had some french fries because she knew Skylar would love her for it. For dessert, she had made her favorite red velvet cheese cake. 

Seeing as everything was finally done and set up, Nina called everyone into the room. "Girls!" 

Pounding was heard on the floor. It sounded very similar to a  herd of buffalo. 

The first person into the room was Oath. As soon as she stepped inside her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. Then came Alexis and Maya. They had the same reaction.

 Taylor came next with a book in her hand but she also had the same reaction and dropped her book. 

Angie came into the room holding a large pair of scissors and went behind Maya but as soon as she saw the dinner she froze. 

Nina giggled because of how funny this scenario was. 

The last person into the room was Skylar. Unlike everyone else, as soon as she saw the food, she squealed in joy. "French Fries!!" 

Nina was already sitting down at the table, so she just motioned for everyone else to come and join her. 

"You guys thought I couldn't cook. Well here you go." 

Taking the first bite, Skylar moaned into her mouth. She blushed when she realized what she did but continued eating. 

After Skylar showed everyone the food wasn't poisoned, the rest of the girls began eating. As soon as the food reached their mouths, every single one of them closed their eyes and and moaned into their mouths. 

Nina began laughing when they all opened their eyes and looked at her in astonishment. 

Angie actually got out of her seat, went in front of Nina, and bowed down. "Your majesty." 

Laughing, Nina clapped her hands. This was great for her. No one had actually appreciated her cooking like this. 

"Let me try! Let me try!" 

With a smile, Nina nabbed some of the roast with her form and put it in her mouth. 

"Mmmmmmmmmmm" 

"Oh my gosh Frost stop moaning in my head."

"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM"

Laughing and shaking her head, Nina looked at the girls, only to see they had all finished their plates and were looking at her, as if to ask for seconds. 

"You guys do know you can eat it all, right?" As soon as the words were said, it became every woman for themselves. Skylar went for the french fries. Oath, Maya, and Alexis went for the ham roast. Taylor and Angie made a nab for the cheesecake. 

"This is amazing." 

"Do we have popcorn?" 

Laughing, Nina just shook her head and watched the chaos unravel.

Groaning, Oath slumped on a couch in the living room. "I'm stuffed." 

Alexis fell on her, causing Oath to groan even more. "Ugggggghhhh." 

Nina had made a lot of food. Considering there were about 7 of them, she had still made enough to yield extras. That didn't happen. 

The girls had eaten everything off the table. Now each one of them looked pregnant with their food baby's. 

"I'm gonna throw this delicious food up." Skylar covered her mouth and closed her eyes. 

Everyone was now slumped in a very spacious living room. Everything anyone could possibly dream of was in here. 

"Lets watch a movie?" Nina suggested.

Everyone groaned.

"Lets play a game?" 

Everyone groaned again. 

Huffing, Nina dramatically fell on one of the couches. "Tough crowd." 

Suddenly, Nina thought of a brilliant idea. 

"Oh my god. They might kill you." Frost laughed. She was totally in. 

Grabbing the remote from beside the TV, Nina quickly found what she was looking for. 

Sinister. 

As soon as the movie began playing, everyone turned their heads with wide eyes towards the screen. Nina didn't truly care much for horror movies, but she had once heard James saying this movie was one of his favorite. She had always wanted to watch it. 

"Nina oh my gosh no!" Skylar had wide eyes and she was screaming. She was situated in between Alexis and Oath on their couch. Taylor and Angie were really into the movie. Maya had ran all the way to Ninas couch and jumped on her lap. 

"Figures"

Nina rolled her eyes and focused on the movie. That however, became difficult due to the fact that every time a scary scene would come up, Maya would scoot herself impossibly closer. 

Sighing, Nina did the only thing she could do to keep Maya at bay. She wrapped her arms around her, preventing her from coming closer and allowing Nina to watch the movie. 

Halfway through the movie, Skylar had somehow moved into Alexis's side. Oath was sitting on the other side of the couch, completely into the movie. 

Skylar screamed when the lights suddenly turned off in the room. She could see in the dark, but it was still scary now that there was no evident source of light. Plus, they were still watching a horror movie.

Scooting closer to Alexis, Skylar was surprised when Alexis put her arm around her shoulder. She was even more surprised when Alexis moved her so that Skylars face was in the crook of her neck. 

The blonde was blushing so hard, she was kind of grateful it was dark now. Good thing about night vision was that you couldn't tell if someone was blushing. 

Telling herself to calm down, Skylar continued watching the movie. 

She had nothing to worry about. The pounding in her heart didn't mean anything. The sudden hotness in the room was just a temperature malfunction. The way Alexis smelt like Roses didn't make Skylar want to ki-------

No. 

Alexis was nothing more than a crush to Skylar. 

Yup. 

She was just a crush.
