When the alpha had mentioned another pack having an emergency, Nina thought maybe a pack mate had been badly injured, or something else had come up. When they started nearing the other packs territory, she realized she couldn't have been more wrong. She could smell the burning from miles away, but when they finally neared actual pack territory, Nina saw the extent of the damage. All the trees surrounding them were burnt to crisps. Ashes lay on the ground, and the wolves were no longer surrounded by green, but black, grey, and white. It was like they had walked into a completely difference universe. Everything was unrecognizable.

"we've entered pack territory. One more hour before we reach their town." The alpha communicated through the pack mind link.

"Nina! I'm dying!! Carry me please~" Maya whined through mind link to Nina but instead of Nina answering, Frost answered.

"Hm. I was expecting more endurance from you. If you can't run any more, how will you last in my bed?" Mayas wolf eyes widened when she heard Frost respond to her. She stopped running when she realized what that response meant.

Chuckling, Frost continued running, leaving the poor girl behind to try and figure out what her comment was insinuating.

"Oh my god Frost! Don't lead her on! She's just gonna come after me!"

"Why don't you get with her? Its not like she's hard to look at, in fact, quite the opposite."

" Because..."

"I'm serious Nina. This girl has been trying to get with you for a very long time. Why don't you give her a chance?"

"Frost, Maya tries to get with everyone."

"You keep telling yourself that."

For the remaining hour, Frost ran in silence. Nina decided to just rest for the rest of the way there.

Before reaching the village, the alpha stopped everyone and told them to shift. Everyone turned around and began to morph into their human forms. Although they were fine with shifting around each other, they would respectfully turn around while putting their clothes on. That way, everyone could stay comfortable. This rule was especially important for mates or wolves dating since no one wanted to turn around and see two naked people ogling each other.

After everyone got changed, they all began following Dave Triton to where the other packs alpha was supposed to meet them. Frost had given control back over to Nina so she could rest.

"The Bloodhound pack just recently reported spotting of rogues on and near their territory. Their sightings have become very frequent and the meeting that was supposed to commence tomorrow was moved to today because of what they ---

"Wait." Everyone looked at a wide eyed Nina.

"Did you just say, the Bloodhound pack."

"Yes I did." The alpha continued explaining why they had traveled here rather than go through with the original plan of meeting up tomorrow. The sky had started to turn dark, and Nina could feel the adrenaline begin to course through her veins.

"Frost. He said Bloodhound." Rather than being her usual calm and collected self, Frost also began to panic.

"Nina we can't be here. We need to leave."

"Frost. Oh my god. I see their alpha. Frost what do I do!!"

"Run!"

"I can't! That would be suspicious!"
