Sunday Evening...

After he told me his grants,I had agreed.I was too excited.

What would happen during our date?What would happen about our honeymoon?Where would it be?

As I was lost in my thoughts,I felt Raj behind me.He was staring me with a amused look.I could tell from his look that he was thinking something deeply.

I was cooking his favorite dish,mac and cheese.But it was with a twist of mine,it was with spicy roasted vegetable.I didn't know if he would like it.As soon as I had seen him,I hid it.

I still could feel Raj's penetrating gaze towards me.What's the matter?Do I look a alien?

Raj-"No,you don't look like alien."

I thought if I had said too loudly.

He-"No sweetheart.You didn't speak it too loud."

I-"Are you mindreader?"

He-"No,but after trying to read your mind,I think I can try my side business with that."

I chuckled.

He still looked lost.But he went to his room.I thought to ask him after dinner.

At dinner time,

I had prepared finally the pasta dish.I called him for dinner.He came.He is still looking like a lost puppy.I still served him the pasta dish.

He started to eat pasta dish.Internally I was praying.His expression changed from what-the-hell is this to something I could not decode.Was it disgusting?I ate the pasta dish.Well,it didn't taste bad.Actually it turned out to be my best dish.

Finally losing patience,I asked him.

I-"How is it?"

He-"Its nice.I can eat it."

His expression now had turned into pot burnt food.What the hell is the matter?

I cooked first dish for him,he just said its ok and I should feel great.Really?Do I expect this?I suddenly feel we are back to point 1.

I was sad now.

The remaining night,he went to his room and closed the door.

Look,I said,he is back to start.No answers,no questions and only silence.Only tomorrow could I ask him the answers.

I slept with the feeling of sadness and curiosity for his behaviour.
