(20) Finally meeting her

Raj:
Two days have passed and now finally I will be able to meet her...
Dr Sanjeeda came smiling and allowed me to go meet Sanjana.By now,her family had their DNA test to prove it is her family.Right now,I was there only and no other member as it was early morning.
I entered the room.The room totally had the feel of hospital.The Blue uniform looked on her pale.She looked weak.She might have heard my steps so she opened her eyes to see me.
She tried to get up and I helped her.She gestured for water.I gave her.
From corner of my eyes I could see she was keenly observing me.Only if she could remember me.
She wanted to speak.I was ready for any questions.I know she must be disturbed.I tried to be a patient person so that I could answer her.
Sanjana:So Mr Raj,umm..my husband,what am I going to get for my breakfast today?
Husband?Did she remember me?A ray of hope...
Sanjana :Now before you think I remember everything let me make it clear to you Dr told me so.And where are my in-laws and parents?
I-(a little shocked) uhh well they are arriving from Pune tomorrow.
Sanjana:Can you give me your mobile?
I- Of course.
I give her my mobile.She starts searching something.
Sanjana:Oh!So we were famous.Wow!I even have my cover on the magazine.Isn't it amazing?
I nodded.
Sanjana gave me my phone but not before seeing the home screen.It was photo of me kissing Sanjana on her cheek and she was giving a toothy grin wearing her sunglasses.
Sanjana smiled and said,"Look Raj!I don't really remember what was our relation really like but yes,why don't we start from scratch?What you say?"
I nodded.Ok at least she is acknowledging me.I thought that horrible Tv scene where they showed the amnesia patient would just cry and get mad what was its identity and here she is so calm and ready to adjust.
After some time,Naitik arrived at hospital and I went back to home to just getting freshened up and prepare home as she will be coming back now.Well Ma and Pa and Sanjana parents were gone to Pune as they had promised to Ganesha,that if Sanjana gets well they would come and offer their gratitude.So it was only Me and Naitik managing.
So finally Home was arranged nicely.Suddenly Marimba tone started.I mean my phone started ringing.Well why can't this Nikhil wait a little?He wanted to meet me urgently.Apparently he had saved Sanjana and it's funny how his name is same as her ex.I wonder if she even remembers him.I watched through my watch and we still had plenty of time till Sanjana arrives so I decided to till then meet him.
